Which 13.5? With the Reedy im running 72/32 with no timing in the speedo. With timing I was running 72/29.

Is there a lower spur than 72 like 69?

Kimbrough makes a 69 tooth spur, as well as other sizes such as a 74 in addition to the usual 72/75.

You should be pretty close with what i suggested, worst case i would gear down a few teeth and check temps, probably start at a 72/28-29

Nothing but good! Maifield is running them and it was designed by a former AE engineer. Try AVID bearings as well, the best in the industry.
