Matt is correct...I have Jim paint all my bodies from W.E.D. His work is always top notch!!!!

You can use the cups that come in the traxxas kit but you will need to drill out the mounting hole a little to fit over the shaft eyelet.
You can use your body reamer to make the shaft hole a tad bit bigger to fill the gap of the backorder! It works just fine too.

well thats what my dad has on his car, the hole is reamed with no clip, but it is still cracking, not nearly as bad or as fast in comparison to using clips, but since i figured im paying for a good paint job, i want this sucker to last, I plan to only use it for races, and or just our local points series, but then I see some guys using their fancy shmancy bodies all the time and their still in good condition lol. I just wanted to see if it was removing that tab was pretty common or not, it seems like there would be less stress on the body

I'm still using body clips but eventually that tab starts to crack off, my dad has velcro but still has the tab with no clip and it seems to slowly be cracking a bit too. I have a body being painted by a local guy and I plan to actually take care of it and thought about removing the tab to help it last a tad bit longer, any one else do this?
My punisher body had no tab. My finnisher body has the tab. I may cut the tab off the finnisher body to get it it to sink down a little lower on the chassis. (make a better connection with the velcro) Either way works fine though.

I've been running AKA red rear and PL closed cell front but will be going back to cut rear foams stuffed in the front, gold barcodes all 4 heavily sauced. Will back off the saucing on this new set of kicks though
Try running red fronts and yellow rears if you want to gain steering but maintain a decent rear balance of traction and rotation.

I tried all of the combos this past weekend and this was by far the best combo in stock for both laptimes and feel. It might seem that the front is pretty soft but it does work!

I just think with red fronts your gonna have trouble on the jumps... the nose will just dive into the face of the jump.

back of the battery compartment, pull the toe block out... slides right in there. Put toe block back in place and screw back in and you will see that it's snug in there.

ive had my finnisher body since december with at least 2 race days a week and it still looks new. buggy bodies dont take the same amount of beating short course bodies take. don't be too concerned about that tab. worst thing that can happen is for it to crack in that spot, then you can just trim the tab off.

In the offroad section, in the High velocity lipo thread there is a guy selling 2 HV shorties, they're very good and worth the consideration

Default strc parts?

SPTSTC9564B - ST Racing Concepts CNC Machined Aluminum Rear Brace (Blue)

SPTSTC9563B - ST Racing Concepts CNC Machined Aluminum Front Bulkhead (Blue)

Do these fit properly? Are these parts a good idea for durability? I read reviews on the GH version and it was bad...said too much slop.

thx!

Get the FT front pivot block, and the rear block is not necessary. Realistically, the front pivot block isn't a necessity either, if you have the FT hinge pin brace.
