Do these fit properly? Are these parts a good idea for durability? I read reviews on the GH version and it was bad...said too much slop.

thx!
IMO, stay away from STRC. Not that they're badly made, but rather other Non-STRC parts connected to them tend to break a lot.

I tried all of the combos this past weekend and this was by far the best combo in stock for both laptimes and feel. It might seem that the front is pretty soft but it does work!

I'm also a fan of the red and yellow combo! It's as good as it gets for a regular size indoor clay, medium to high bite track if you ask me!

Thats just not the case, it has been pretty common to go up to 32.5wt oil in the shocks as of late. I guess if you have some huge jumps that are not similar to what we have been running on it might be an issue but I would give it a try before you decide for sure. Chad Due at trackside ran nothing but reds and this included the reedy race and motorama and he did pretty well at both.

No, to long of a day for nothing. If they ran 3 qualifiers and half the crowd I would but it takes WAY to long for just 2. I'll be at West Coast enjoying an open track. PM or TXT me if u want to chat.

Hi,

So I'm changing to brushless. Yes I still run brushed motors...
At our club they run a 17,5t brushless motor with a ezrun speedo but they told me they upgrade the firmware or somethinf like that so the motor could run faster (it runs now as fast as a 27t brushed motor)
But I'm not a big fan of hobbywing..
so what combo should I get so my b4.1 runs as fast as now?

I was thinking of a lrp sxx stockspec v2 with a x12 17.5 motor? but someone on a other forum said the stockspec was more for 1/12th carpet?

please help me with this I'm still new to this brushless thing

thanks, Martijn

Chad also runs shorty pack, which I did say, preferred combo with shorty is red/white

I do run on a track that has some pretty crazy jumps and / or pot holes. It's primarily an 8th scale / 4wd SC track. We still get around ok with our buggies, but I could never run the type of setups / tires you guys run on your clay tracks LOL. For anyone who was at this year's motorama, picture our home track as the 8th scale track and compare the 10th scale track to everyone else's home tracks. Then you will understand

I have the best success with orange/yellow, but I am going to give silvers another try. I want to try white as well, but they are always out of stock.

what would i notice changing to the reds from silver i really dont like my buggy with silvers in the front, the front end does not feel planted at all.

will try reds and whites since i have em sitting there. yellow and silver don't land smooth compared to kyosho bb and standard, even a.e springs have smoother landing.

As long as your club allows boost in the speed control the Stock Spec is a great speedo. Very adjustable without the need of a laptop, and you can upgrade the firmware through LRP as it becomes available.

On another note...Just ordered $80 in Springs for my B4.1 and B44.1, These things better be gold plated
