Just a opinion , both offer the same reliability, the performance is the biggest difference between & goes to the LRP.....

Hope you get returned the new SXXv2's from Lrp, it is so awesome, never had it better ...

I'm glad you have so much confidence in the sxx v2 esc. I can tell you that the 2 I had worked great, all temps in check , then all of a sudden dead on the track. The new in box speedo and the replacement they sent me, both with the Same issue. Oh yes I could have just sent it back to lrp and have them repair it and sent it back, but it ruined a race weekend and and would rather not keep waisting money on shipping and risk it happening again. Switched brands and never looked back, and no I will not be back. I am not the only one with this issue either, do a quick search and you will see this is not an isolated issue.

Oval , Can be just a little luck of the draw, I see either brand have a few failures...
So you know , I run way more than most do each week .
usually race 3 or 4 days of the week & I also practice on the off days....
I have experience no problems , not one with the Lrp SXX & SXXv2 .....
Many times I have seen racer's with the bad luck get a returned ESC from the manufacture & they again experience a failure.
This happens because they had a bad servo, receiver or just plain-O wiring issues....
So it is all to easy to blame the manufacture , when it was not there fault at all...
See this a lot BTW....
What I'm saying is almost half the time I do see a ESC fail ?
It was owner mistake , not the manufacture ....

i dont know about the sxx but i have the sphere comp and have had it for a long while and use it 2 nights a week and 1 to 2 race days a week. and have never had an issue at all i agree that 9 times out of 10 it is an operator error

I use a sanding block for drywall. Mine though is well used from projects around the house. I move it back and forth down then up, just one trip down the block and once back up the block, and then turn it 180 degrees. Turn the pad over and repeat. If the glazing is light it works. When I have glazed the pads really good I work at them a little more. A lot of people use a razor knife but I personally feel this will clean the pads more even.
