I wish there was a consitent class of 4-wheel drive buggy around here, Would love to run a B44.1 again, love 4-wheel drive speeds and maneuvarability.

I've seen some 4WD buggy chatter on the OCRC & WCRC threads. Perhaps we can rally and organize a race day at least once every few weeks with everyone to give the class a shot in the arm again. As more racers see more of them out in force, it should only raise the class popularity again.

Just stuff it all in there , a lot of racers use a full size rear foam in fact .

The ProLine stuff is pretty wide, I would cut it to 3/4 width and stuff that in there.

Anyone tried running the inline axles? I'm a bit up in the air about it put them on the car and I like it in some areas and hate it in others. Haven't had a chance to put a lot of time on them yet been working. If someOne is running them post your setup. Would like to see how far off I am at the moment. Thanks!

We got it going for a while in SD, but too many Durangos and broken cars (earlier this year a broken rear drive shaft hoop (?) on a Durango would put them out of the game for months waiting on back-order parts) pretty much killed it.

Surprisingly, I see 4wd buggies out at practice fairly often at OCRC. What I think it needs is not just a day and place, but a spec, like 13.5 blinky/17.5 boosted to keep it cheap (less broken parts, which is what scares off new drivers) and new driver accessible (most people that have been racing long enough to buy a 4wd buggy probably have a spare 17.5 somewhere). WCRC ran a poll for a new class and interest in 17.5 4wd Buggy got more than twice the votes of all the other classes listed... The current layout at OCRC is also extremely friendly for 4wd buggies.

I don't think this is the right thread for this discussion, though.

Toss those inserts in the trash, and get some AKA reds for the front and rear. You will be happy you did. I bet there is no one on here running stock inserts.??????

Do not run the aka foams they are way to stiff. The stock proline foams are not bad if I was you I would go with the proline closed cell hey are a good medium between the aka and stock. Thats just my two penny's

Not true a decent amount of the fast guys at my track run rrear stocks in the front with the same success and at a cheaper price than closed cell foams

I really love my buggy too, just looking to add another truck to the collection

Plus, we run on 1/8th scale tracks, not the best for 2wd buggies
