For all those who keep asking over and over... The big bores are just a myth. A sick joke perpitrated by people who drive Kyoshos, Losi 22's, and Durango. So quit asking for they are not real, and all the photos you have seen have been photoshopped. There are no AE big bores, so lets move on. Please........

Seriously, They wont improve your lap times and will not win you races. I will pay $40 to the first person who can prove to me that big bore shocks have made them faster, or improved their lap times. Period.

You would go broke if you raced at Norcal Hobbies. we have all proved that we are slightly faster but over all have been more consistent and have the lap times to prove it but I bet you'd still argue with proof.

The first I heard of the big bores was when i saw them on Maifields car back at the Cactus in March. Since then i have been told only the factory team drivers had access to them. The sponsored guys were unable to get them until recently.

So when you say "we" i am assuming there are a bunch of factory team guys at your track that have tested them and confirmed the performance benefits?

If so, then i will assume you are a team driver and have been racing there for a While? If this is the case this is great and we can settle this once and for all. All you need to do is give me the link to the track website with your name and i will compare race results, or post some race results here with the pre and post big bore lap times along with your paypal address and i will send you the money. No joke.

Its worth it to me to pay you the money so others can see the actual benefits, in which case my attempts to stop people from asking about them will have failed, or we will not see any proof of performance gains and people will stop asking about them until they actually come out, which was my intention.

Im not a hater, and like what the big bore springs have done for my car. More consisant maybe, better lap times and more trips to the podium? Not so far.

You do realize that the kyosho and losi shocks fit the B4 right? When i first jumped ship from a 22 I tossed my 22 shocks on the B4 and it was dialed. Made it a little more forgiving and just a bit easier to drive hard. Kinda like the big bore springs vs the stock springs. Just more pronounced. I ended up selling the 22 so I had to pull the shocks off the B4.

With that said, the stock shocks are pretty damn awesome as is.

You are your own worse enemy. Why does it bother you so much that people ask about the BB? You don't have to respond to every post when someone asks about them. Truth be told AE is probably the only 2wd buggy on the market without them. We have our share of factory guys at the track but again....your hate for people asking about BB has made you blind. I stated we are running BB. Never said AE BB. There's only one person here with the first AE prototypes. You can keep your money....the benefits have already been laid out more than once by myself and a few others on here. But since we arent Mayfield or Cav our word doesnt mean squat.
