Ok so I have a quick question I bought the wrong rear hubs for my buggy. I got the ones that would go on the B44 they are the plastic ones on the package it says that they are for B4 and B44. My question is will they work on the B4 I know I have to get the right size bearings and thats fine I just want to make sure they will work. Thanks for the help.

If you already have a FTB4.1 you have everything you need already. If you have an older B4 or a rtr... You need the larger outer bearing and the proper crush tube to go between the bearings.

well, I checked that link. It goes to like hampstersdancing.com or something. I checked amain and they didn't seem to have them either. So I don't know if you were just messing with me or what.

All, just broke out my old B4 and upgraded it with the +8 chassis. Additionally, it's been so long since I ran it, this will the first time I do so with lipo batteries. My issue is with the set screws that screw into the chassis. Blue thumbnuts are run onto them to hold down the battery strap. Problem is, I'm not getting many threads before the nut's stop. The setscrews are 1/2" long. Do you guys know of some longer 4-40 setscrews that will work better?

Thanks.

You only need to screw the setscrews in about 10 threads or so, they dont need to be bottomed out in the plastic. when my thumbscrews are in with a battery they are about even with the top of the setscrews

The plastic zero degree b44 hubs work great on the b4,you just need the right size bearings.I use these hubs on my b4.1 that I converted to worlds spec.

Thanks for the reply, Matt. In that case, I'll look into that.

Besides the +8 chassis, are there any other upgrades worth looking at for an old FT B4? The track I run on has become more suited for 1/8th scales if that helps on suggestions.

Thanks again.
