I'm probably the worst type of offender. I liked the b4.1 worlds, liked the way it drove, did all the upgrades, big bore springs, hexes, got it just the way I wanted it and then sold it to try something new and exciting.
It got to the point that all I did was clean the car and occasionally change the shock oil. Other than that, no issues. To be honest I kind of got board. I only race when I have time, which is not often. When I do race I am a middle of the pack kind of driver, but I (Edit) (USED) to hang with the Mod guys and have won some races.
I gravitated towards the DEX210, because of the look, chassis, big bores, etc., but am I faster? Who knows. I have not raced with it yet. But I have already had issues with the rear axle, had a shock eyelet pop off, and I am still looking for the right spring/oil set up. Since I don't race a lot, wrenching is part of the experience for me. Now this is what I call fun!
So the moral of the story is different cars means different things to different people.

when you guys use the vts slipper, did you have to use the original inner slipper plate and pad to space the spur away from the motor plate? Seems to fit fine that way, I will report my findings as soon as I make it to the track...

i can promise you guys one thing... when the b5 is first seen it will be at the worlds. So youll either see a new car in 6 months, or be prepared to wait at least 30 months.. i have a feeling it will be 30 months
When it does come out it will be covered with unicorn tears and glitter.
We have some guys that run vintage gold pan RC10's in mod buggy and are turning just as good or better lap times with the vintage cars. So all of the go fast aftermarket stuff most of it is B.S.
Save your money for track time and tires. That was some of the best advice I ever got....
