I have the hotwire as well.. just wondering what recommended settings are. With the losi motor I'm using a 27t pinion for starters.. I don't need tons of top end on the indoor track just lots of 'rear end' so I'm super quick. keeping in mind the losi 17.5 is only 1820kv, quite a bit lower than the semi standard 2200kv.

man I miss read ur question../hahahaha I blame the perksets. I had surgery yesterday.

Are the front and rear wheels/tyres the same?

Front and Rear tires are the same it's the rims that are not. The front ones uses 2 bearings on each wheel.

If I thought about this for two seconds more, I would have been able to work it out.

Thankyou for your reply.

For those who have replaced the rear arms with the RPM ones, have you had problems with the dog bone rubbing on the suspension arm? If so are there issues with this happening?

When I was assembling my kit I just put some black grease in the gear meshes inside the diff. Is that correct or are you supposed to pack the whole diff full of grease?

FWIW the threaded associated shocks are a waste of money, there's no difference other than they are threaded. The Losi shocks on the other hand are truly an "upgrade".

I've finally managed to lay my hands on some losi shocks
They came with red springs, and they feel a little too much for the front - any recommendations on springs to use, or a good range of springs to have please

When you guys are talking about Losi shocks on the SC10, which Losi model are you pulling them off of - or did they use the same shock forever like Associated has?

I'm waiting on the updated SC10 kit to come out, but I'm already wondering if cannibalizing the shocks from my old XX buggy might be worth it :)

You would need truck shocks, not buggy.

Does the RTR come with 2 spur gears? I just got a brushless setup in the mail, and I haven't looked through my spares at home. Just trying to figure out if I need to run to the hobby shop after I leave work, or if I'll be good.

Thanks for the info!
