Is 7000wt diff oil to thick for the sc10 to handle??

I'm running 7,000 in mine on indoor carpet and it works good. might try to bump to 10,000 see if it's any better soon. started with 100,000 and was WAY too much

What kind of track surface? I run on an indoor mostly clay track and 40wt AE shock oil in the diff is dialled. No one's been able to keep up with my mod corr SC10 so far.

Carpet only...7k in the diff with rear swap bar (silver). Very drivable.

Just a note/tip for anyone wanting to use the stronger RPM front arms...
Because of the way the RPM arms hold in the outer hinge pins, you have to either get shorter outer hinge pins or do like I did and grind down your titanium hinge pins ~1/16"

i dint have to grind anything, direct fit with no problems

hello everyone i posted this earlier but not sure were so gonna try again.
I have some questions on set up.
can someone post a complete set up for a hard grooved track. or point me in the right direction. i cant find this on rc10.com or anyweree else. also i did read on rc10.com some of the guys using losi rear hubs. is this a direct replacement for the sc10. ( not just looking to mix losi and asociated parts but it sounds as though but just looking for clarification.

is this because the pins spin and back the screws out?

If you are using the RPM front A arms the standard size outter hinge pins wont fit. I noticed this 1st hand when I put them on my truck, there is also a note on the RPM website:

Tech Notes: RPM Front A-arms can be used on the Associated SC10 & T4 although the outer front SC10 / T4 hinge pins will need to be replaced with the outer front hinge pins from the GT2 (Assoc. #7927).

Since I picked up the Lunsford Titanium Hinge Pin kit I was a little concerned but I was able to grind down the outter hinge pin enough to get it to fit.

I already had AE GT2 arms so my pins will fit.

Run Josh Andersons setup at the associated website for OCRC. Id only do a couple changes. Gray springs in the rear and Red springs up front.

They are going to start coming out...there is a smaller hole that is about 5mm deep and by running longer pins you forced it through the stopper with th ephillips set screw. It might just hold for you...
