where does this magical 4th hole go on the rear shock tower? under 1? lol if so it should be called Zero.

I know one guy that has drilled his tower and he did it the way you're describing it. I've been meaning to try it out myself.

Look up Scott Brown's Sc-10 set-up on www.RC10.com..

It uses the 4th hole on the rear tower , a great set-up for clay tracks....

Switch the tires to opposite sides and see if the balance issue moves to the other side?

Bingo! It's the insert or probably worn out tyre that's causing the wobbling issue. I swapped it and now it's on right side

Just bought a set of rear SC10 tyre.

After that, hopefully I can convert it to use 1/8th tyre. I heard it's better control and probably longer lasting as well.

If the tires are in good shape you can always just balance the tire/wheels with a tire or prop balancer.
Use kids non drying modeling clay as weight, just stick it to the light side of the wheel.
You can even just mount the wheel on the axle, pull the dogbone out so the axle spins free, let the heavy side of the wheel rotate to the bottom and add clay to the lighter top side until the light side equals the heavy side.
They should now be across from each other, left side across from the right side or even better, a perfect balance would let the wheel stop in a different place each time it stops. (good luck with that tho )

You really should balance these huge wheels/tires anyway if not all of your wheels/tires.

Anyone have experience with the RPM A-arms.
I plan on beefing up my front end.
I ordered the Jconcepts Ford Raptor shell, RPM bumper with the bulkhead
braces. And GT2 hinge pins to mount the rpm arms on my truck.
People have been using them at the track, im not a huge fan
of the rpm stuff but I want my truck tough so im not buying A-arms
all the time. And I'd rather not go the full aluminum route either.
Because that's just adding a bunch of weight...not needed.
But I have been thinking about a aluminum rear bulkhead and
rear end caster blocks with rpm rear a-arms to beef up the rear end later on.
But that's later not right now, I just want people's input first.

RPM arms will not break near as often , but the performance on your truck will suffer.

Stay away from most of the metal parts.....

roller is the way to go, imo. They can be easily had for $125-$140. Take the extra $85 and buy a better esc/motor than stock, because you'll end up replacing it anyway.

That's kinda what I figured. I didnt know how capable it really was. There's just a few decent deals with rt floating around. With batteries too. Ill look around some more. Ill have to grab a servo too with a roller. Thanks

Well, I don't have a ton of time on that motor/esc, but I've run it. I mean it doesn't suck, it's ok, but nothing like a quality 13.5 motor and a good used higher end esc. I actually like the SC450 esc fairly well, I use one in my stampede for bashing (after I gooped up around the wires with silicone sealant).
