I run a similar pack. Full forward and i had to dremel out the strap a bit near the top above the pos and neg holes

Thanks Joel. A little trimming on the battery strap isn't bad, just glad to hear it fits in the tray width-wise

the sc10 is a great truck with the right parts!
man the ball diff, ft shocks, and the proper set up this thing just plain hauls but on a track!

spot on on anytrack.

No problems here from any of mine, you will have to dremal the battery a bit to get a connector to properly fit but not much.

i run the zippy 5.2s now still no problem.

I have the same 4000 pack but don't run it because of the top posts. I do however have one of the 5.2 packs and all I can is that pack is AWESOME. A little tight for the battery stap but tons of power out of it.

I called customer service at Associated and they sent me some shims.

I've got two of them and the only problem I ever had was in a hard crash one of the banana plugs came lose and cost me a couple of laps. Otherwise they are fine, and no different from the big-name brands with banana plugs in that respect.

Run one in my SC10 every race day.

Electric newb here.....where do you buy these packs or the 5.2 pack?

Thanks

Try and make your connectors like this, I had the same problem--along with the bullet (banana) connectors becoming loose and sloppy and losing a good connection. After I re-soldered them at 90* I have never had either problem again...

I am confused--did you mean to ask Would you buy? If so, the only difference between the 4000 and the 5.2 (5200) will be runtime, the 5.2 has a little more "C" rating that may give a tad more punch also...

The other guy "electric newbie" asked where to buy the lipo's, so I quoted it and answered his question, HobbyCity, but it didn't do the quote for some reason. I looked after I did it and it did look kind of funny.

I ran today at wcrc and felt like i was killing with my 13.5, was beating all the stockers and running with sc trucks with bigger motors. got nothing on the 4 wheel sc's though

25 weight oil front and rear. silver rear, green front. 1 limiter moved from inside to outside on the front shocks. black sway bar kept it from traction rolling on accident. bowties on beadlocks front and rear. 13.5 geared at 26/84, got up to 150f
