From a stock sc10 rtr, What do you need to run the T4 diff?

Any body havve info on if it works better or now? Better traction in the rear?

you need the T4 complete tranny. keeps yours for a backup.

my stock planetary gears are still in the bag that came in the kit....lol

dont even want to waste my time with them. ball diff all the way!

takes 2 minutes to adjust rather than 30 minutes. :D

If you are interested, a here's an SC10 race video from this weekend. Track is a backyard track, but one of the nicest backyard tracks I've seen. Top two were SC10's running 10.5 motors. Absolutely a blast running these trucks. Mine felt pretty good, but not dialed yet as it was my first race with it.

How's the truck doin Crawler, mine's been a blast.
Didn't want to get into the tire buyin wars but had to step it up since guys I didn't have to worry too much about came knockin on the door after sportin new treads.
Now I picked some up and it's all good again.:sneaky:

The shocks are awesome after you take the time to build them correctly. As good as any Losi shock or better IMO. Just requires more effort, and in this day and age, that's just not acceptable to most people. For me, I like doing things the hard way just to show that it can be done.

Truck has been awesome, After addressing the early issues(installed GT2 A-arms, Cuda chassis brace, added additional shims to the diff, JB'd the rear wheels, added the Losi 1 degree hugs) I haven't had any reason not to love it.:)

As for the tire wars, I picked up a set of M2 SC Bow Ties and they have been a great addition to the truck.

So is the general concensus, put your tire of choice on the rear and leave the stock ones in the front, or is everyone changing the front tires as well.

If you changed the front tires, was it because you wanted a matching set, or was it necessary.

AKA Tires Conversion

AKA makes a conversion, go to RcShortcourse.com and it is on their homescreen. Sick looking!

Hmmmm, I'm running M2 Pro Line Bow Tie SC on the rear of my rig and I still run the stock front tires? I have a bit of a push entering the corner, but I think that changing the oil and springs will be enough to eliminate that w/o having to purchase another set of tires.

Different set ups, preferences, and surfaces lead to different conclusions, but at this point, I wouldn't say it's a must.

changing the front tires is a must...

heavier springs...heavier oil.... plus changing the front tires... and some rpm rod ends .....any questions....

What I noticed with building the shocks is taking out the rebound when bleeding them. After doing this and running the truck all day the shocks will leak very little to no shock oil. Try this and see what happens guys.

I heard to replace the rear arms with the GT2's, but can and do you replace the front arms with anything or are they special to this truck?
