Am i the only one who's SC10 kit came with buggy front shock bodies instead of truck front bodies or do they all come like that :confused:

one mine i have:
FT threaded shocks
spring kit for front and rear
FT ti turnbuckles with rpm/jconcepts ball cups
losi 1* rear hubs
ft hinge pin brace (until my rpm arms come in)
futaba s9350 servo
FT servo saver bolt
heavy duty servo saver spring
steering rack bearings
goosebumps with aka foams
losi xcelorin 13.5t sensored brushless combo
5000mah 40c smc c-max lipo
ft cvds
durbro body clip retainers
FT shock pivots
FT servo mounts
FT milled motor plate
FT clear spur cover
a bunch of spurs and pinions (a MUST)

i gotta redial in my setup with some new changes...but, it was on rails before

So nobody has an answer???

The sc10 uses the exact same shocks as the T4...rear shock bodies @1.32 inches and front @1.02. Sounds like you've gotten the short end of the stick if you have .8" or .71.:(

That's what i was thinking. Guess i'll give AE a call. Maybe everybody should take a good look at there front shock bodies if they are running the stock blue bodies :weird:

Ya more then likely they just put wrong parts in kit. It should be 1.02 in front and 1.32 in rear. Something like that.

Well in the main tonight all of a sudden my dogbone kept popping out and it looked like it was too short. I'm guessing the rubber o ring popped out.

Anyways I guess I'll just upgrade to the MIP T4 cvds. I'm assuming those work right ?

Just make sure you have the o-rings on the outdrive and hub side. I spaced mine in the middle with like 2 o-rings on each side. I went to CVD's cause they bones wore out fast.

Make sure your down travel/droop isnt too much. Check the spacers/limiters inside the shocks to limit the length

Your rear shocks should measure about 10.5 cm center of hole to center of hole when assembled.

Fronts = 8.5 cm.

they work great for me....just watch for the pins trying to escape...one of mine came out and cut chuncks out of my lower a-arm!

What I do to fix that is put a piece of shrink tubing around the pin area. This way the pin doesnt slide out anymore. Works great.

Use a wrench and tighten it up.:lol:

Seriously, clean the setscrew and the hole with motor spray to remove any oil then use blue loctite and there should be no reason it would come loose, oh yeh and use a wrench.

dirt runners is hosting their annual dirt runners challenge like they do ever year. the track info and pre-registration could all be found in the link.. we are trying to start this year the "2wd mod corr class" all it takes is 5 people and the class will get off the ground. we already have 3 people for the class all we need is 2 more. so if your local and wanna participate in this class please come by join the fun..the track is always open for practice

Well I am finally giving in and picking one up tomorrow...Is everyone diggin the gear diff? I have an extra ball diff I could throw in. Anything special to expect when building the kit?
