I'll check those out. Do you have a brand preference? My friends have been using the Turnigys with success for awhile now so I was going to try them out. I just placed an order through HobbyKing for my 18t batteries and charger so I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

Thanks for the help

I have never heard of Turnegy's. Not sure on those packs. My main lipos r Reedy's from AE and Orion 2s's.

That's what my friends are telling me. I guess I can order a few and then order some of the expensive batteries and test them out.

Nothing wrong with zippys, I don't know about any horror storys any different than any other brand, watch what your doing and you should be ok, the money you'll save will allow you to spend in other areas IMO, unless your a top flight driver that can tell the differance between super fine adjustments I don't see need for big dollar batterys, I don't think your going to be able to tell the differance, again just MO, good luck.:)

I've had great luck with the Fantom's. You can order direct from Fantom and they have the 5000 40Cs.

I ordered 10 zippys, 4 cells and 2 cells, only ran em once so far but worked great and lots of power/punch.

I'm really digging your paint job... The silver on the rear "bar" area and the blue finish reminds me of a bar of soap...

How did you blend that blue?

That looks like a paint runs I'm not sure if it's a intentional or not may be it's a new trick on painting.
