Call Associated customer sevice if your diff is making noise and they will send you the shims to fix it. Or if you feel you need a part # it's on page 7 of the manual that comes with the truck part#9829 5mm X 14mm shim. you will need 4.

Just about finished putting my sc10 together. How much rear toe-in are most of you running? Do I need the diff shims right off, or only if my diff is clicking? Also, I was going to glue up a set of calibers tonight but, the tires come with two different foams. I tried mounting a tire with both foams and it was a pain. Still don't have them glued. Sorry 'bout all the q's. Thanks in advance for your help. I will be racing it for the first time this weekend.

woah woah, dont put the smaller grey foam ring in with the tire. thats just to keep the foam round when in shipping and in package. that goes in the trash!

Are you sure about that? I thought the small foam ring is use to control side bite of the tires.

The extra smaller ring is for slash tires as the wall inside is slanted. Don't use them on sc10 rims unless you just like making things harder to glue. lol

I know Integy doesnt have the best rep, but has anyone tried their Graphite SC10 chassis? http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p...39&p_catid=256

T-BirdJunkie 01-20-2010 10:31 PM

ThunderbirdJunkie would put it on his truck to test it if anybody wants to buy one and ship it to him ;)

He'd even take care of shipping!

Thanks for the replies. I just read on proline's site that the gray stamped foam is for mounting on slash wheels. Thanks again. More q's to follow.

Proline M3 SCT bowties and sand down the pins until there's just a bit of the tread block base left. Sauce the rear tires only, not the fronts. You want to maximize rear traction, then play with camber link settings to fine tune the balance of the truck to your liking.
