Looks like a nice piece, I went with the RPM brace, I will post my thoughts on it when I receive it, to me it looks the most factory of all the braces I've seen.

We run mostly clay here in Indiana which doesn't tend to blue groove much but does provide good traction even when its dry. I have not changed from the stock a-arms and they have held up very well on an 1/8 scale track.. My current setup is as follows:
Stock SC10 fronts Proline Bowtie M3 rears with stock foam Novak GTB with Novak 13.5 FT shocks 35 wt Gold springs front, 30 wt Blue springs rear Losi 1 deg rear hubs and Losi rear hinge pins -1 deg camber on all 4 tires 1 deg toe out up front Battery in stock position 2oz weight around battery foam in rear Long camber links in the rear AE 3000 wt oil in the diff Jconcepts under body tray I won our Dueling for Dollars points series with this setup. The thing with these trucks is THROTTLE control. If you don't have any you need to practice until you get some or they will be a hand full no matter what setup or motor/esc combo you have. |
I've been running the RPM front brace for a couple of months now. It works great. Solid as a rock. I highly recommend it.
Agree with the Losi rear hubs. I've got both the 1-degree and 2-degree ones, depending on track conditions. I split my battery foam, and run the battery about 3/4" from full back. I've got 2 oz. of lead under the rear battery foam. No added weight up front. These things have plenty of steering without adding weight there. Good luck with your SC10 |
Any thoughts on a speeder for the sc10. Have a Tekin Rs in my 1/12th car and was thinking about using it, or a Novak Havoc. Won't run anything more than a 13.5 0r 10.5.
thanks chuck |
Tekin all the way. If you come to Classic to race it this spring/summer, I'll tweak the 203 settings for ya to make it stupid fast. :)

Simple, strong, lightweight and will hold your truck together even if you have already broken it. My truck is still broken and held together with the original piece that I started with. Mount it under the bumper. If you like it you can pm me and I'll ship one out the same day. |

Stealth, no problem. How often do run Classic? I know Wayne and Dave are both getting sc10s. I should be over there before too long.

I'm usually at Classic every Saturday, when work and weather dont screw me up. I'll be there this weekend and next weekend. Then I'll probably be at ARCs the week before and during the Shootout.
