I had to trim my shock eyelets down some amount to get the ride height correct with silvers. .060 rings a bell.

I have the red handle ones, and they have lasted 3 years. But they only have 3 of the 4 sizes you need.

The Losi (What I use) or the AE driver sets. Both are great and can be found online for much cheaper then in a local shop.

i also ran into this ride height issue with the kyosho springs. was gonna add 2 more limiters but then the droop would be different. but cutting the eyelit seems like a pretty good solution. ill have to try that out

Hey SC10 guys, quick question for y'all!

If anyone happens to have their SC nearby them at the moment, could you possibly measure the distance between the two screw holes, that fasten the mud flaps to the bumper assembly? Pretty please? :D

Just the linear (straight-line) dimension from the center of each hole/screw to the other, on the same flap. Not passenger side and driver side. Just the two holes on one flap.

I'm playing around with a couple of different ideas for a universal hop-up/upgrade, that'll work between all of the common Pro2 (2wd SC Trucks), without specific parts for specific models. One fits all.

Will divulge details soon. Thanks much!

Awesome, you're the man! Thanks sir! :batman:

Mind if I shoot you a PM, once I get a rough proto done up? And perhaps you'd be interested in giving it a proper shakedown, for some rudimentary R&D..?

Ps, I see you're quite the comedian. Har har. Haha  I was just trying to be as simple as I could, with what I was asking.. You know, in laymens terms, for some of the less tech/mechanical-savvy folks.

Thanks again bud. Cheers!

No problem at all! I'm an Aerospace machinest so when someone asks for a measurement its like dangling a carrot in front of a mule! Shoot me a PM anytime. Goodluck!

Haha, gotcha.. That's awesome. Glad to see a machinist on the forums! I'm a Mechanical Engineer, but deal with folks in Tech Support or Customer Service sometimes, so I tend to 'dumb things down' a little too much, at times. Haha

Thanks again man, added ya as a contact on here, so I'll shoot ya a PM sometime soon!

I am driving really big 1/8 scale offroad tracks. i want to switch back to gear diffs so I don't ruin my ball diffs. What weight oil is good for the gear diff I want it pretty tight for big tracks like this?

Hey guys total noob with this Electric stuff... I have another question..

I'm putting my FT kit together and have questions about the Tires and Wheels that came with the kit..

1. Are the front tires that come with the kit worth gluing up? Or should I get something different for the rims... I'll running on two different tracks one is indoor hard pack clay, the other is an outdoor dry packed surface blue groove..

2. I know there is a hex conversion for the rear wheels.. but the kit comes with the roll pin type wheels... should I toss the wheels and get some hex type wheels?

3. Do the other brand wheels (AKA) come as a hex type?

4. Should I just buy the AE plastic hex conversion kit or is there something better you'd recommend for the hex conversion...

Thank you
