I have been running the STRC hex adaptors for almost a year with no problems, no bearing issues, held in place with a set screw. $10 a pair from Amain

question about the proline protrack beadlock wheels.
I have the jconcepts aluminum 12mm hexes on the rear, and some axial 12mm aluminum hexes on the front, will I be able to run the proline protrack beadlock wheels on my sc10 and still have them be the right offset? proline doesnt list the actual offset anywhere, im trying to find out if they will sill fit under the body. |

i'm getting ready to search thread, but does anyone have a quick parts list for b44 rear hub upgrade? I just smoked my rear inner bearings, and was gonna upgrade tonight...
|
GOT IT!
But I was reading that the bearing most common to failure was the outer one.....] I blew out both inner bearings after about 20 min. of runtime after installing the rear JC hex adapters... I'm hoping the B44 hub/bearing upgrade will fix this problem!?!??! |
Ok, so after some testing now with the normal arms back on these shocks are even hotter!! I'm still looking for a fix for the front to bring my ride height down a tad bit. The truck is running amazing now as is though.
Oh and I just ordered the Avid clamping hex set. For the price I don't think they can be beat. $17 for all four of them. http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...IMG_1125-1.jpg http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...IMG_1124-1.jpg http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...IMG_1123-1.jpg |

Get the white spacers from AE shock rebuild 6440 and use Kyosho X-rings with green slime. Should not leak anymore.
I understand that the o rings are probably better but why the white spacers? |

 :batman: |
I'm pretty sure he's referring to the spacer that goes between the 2 o-rings.
It doesn't affect compression/rebound. |
Has anyone successfully applied a J82 kit to the SC10? I'm thinking about converting my SC10 into a J82 but I realize that the SC10's chassis has a longer wheelbase?

So I always set up my shocks with 0 rebound. But it never fails the Monday after a race weekend I check over everything and the shocks have anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 rebound. I used green slime when I built them. This happens on both my SC10 and the B4.1 v2 shocks. Is this normal? Should I bleed them before every race to maintain 0 rebound?
