Those are the ones and the only reason we run them is because the outer hole on the three hole castor blocks (stock) never gets used and the stiffer plastic of the two hole castor blocks is prefered.

Well after reading and looking at some gearing some of you are running.
What is a good gearing setup to run?
Main track I run on is tight no large anything, lol
Average lap time is about 13.00 sec dipping into the mid to low 12's for a fast lap. Motor is a Ballistic Novak 13.5T no ESC timing can time the motor .

Right now i am sitting at 20/81 per the instructions sheet from the Buggy
but after reading all the different gearing on here I am lost

I used to run 75/30 when I had that motor

When I ran the Ballistic 13.5 on my B4.1 I set end bell timing up to 45* with no esc timing. I gear at 30/81. Ran great and super fast. The indoor clay track I run on is pretty big (6900sq ft)but I feel that a 17.5 with 45* end bell timing on 33/72 is plenty fast. At practice I can keep up with just about any vehicle out there. Plus after an 8min run I come off the track between 120* - 125*.

Here's a good gearing guide website.

Default 2 hole caster verses 3 hole caster block

The difference is not really the plastic .....

The difference is the 3 hole axle height is .030 higher than the two hole version .

What does this all mean to how the car handles ?

Three hole has smoother or less steering compared to the two hole ....*

*Comparing both with the steering block installed in the middle of the caster block...

So ? If you ran the three hole block .030 lower , it would be the same as a 2 hole in the middle ....

I checked it out first to make sure .

Gt-2 needs smoother steering for outdoor low traction conditions , thus the three hole was born ....

Excuse me this question but is there someone who can measure the wheelbase of his B4.1 with a long chassis (+8mm) ?

Thank you for your help...

you are WAY undergeared. With no ESC timing, and maybe just a little bit on the motor itself, you should be closer to 27-28/78 for a 13.5

Here's the my track. Current layout at last saturday's race. Looks to be about 3X the size of yours. So my gearing suggestion probably would not be good for you as you don't really need much top speed for a long straight like at my track. You need more torque to clear jumps and exit speed. May be around 26/75 or 25/72. basically a combo that will put around 7.0-7.5 final drive ratio. Hopefully others on here that run on tight tracks like yours can chime in for suggestions.

Edit: These suggestions are for 13.5.
