I charge mine up a couple days in advance. For me, if they go over three days or more, I store them with a storage charge.

I know that many people can get away with it, but I have read that you don't even want to leave a lipo fully charged for even a couple of hours, as it tends to kill the life of them, and can make them swell up too. My buddy does it, but I refuse to. I leave mine stored at 7.6 volts until they are ready to be charged.

Just got my FT B4 along with an extended chassis. How much weight is everyone adding to these with this chassis.

I added a 1/2 oz between the servo and the steering on the chassis.

Are any of you guys putting any weight in the rear. I cant get my +8 B4.1 to keep from nose diving, I dont want to add weight to stop it but that may be the only thing that may help. I have tried different shock springs and that didnt do it

Ballast in the back, 1/4's in the rear triangles, 1/2 next to the RX. Nothing up front.

Ballast weight on the ft or back will have little effect on the attitude of the car landings after a jump .

Yes, throttle and brake can change the direction of flight on larger jumps. I am speaking of the smaller jumps that have very little "air time"

I will try the weight distribution you suggested and see what happens

Take the weight off or put on , will not make much of a difference on jumps, weight is for traction & steering adjustment..


BTW , you said the car is diving nose first...

Try running the lipo in the back position. With the longer chassis it will have a greater effect. Also, what anti-squat are you running?
