Well, if you don't look in the for sale section it is your own fault.

I would strongly discourage doing this any further.

Does anyone know that on the b4.1 hex conversion so you can run hex wheels on the back if that will also work on the b44.1? Just wondering if the two cars had the same type of rear end?

Default First improvement

I have a new RTR B4.1 and the only thing I've done to it is put double D tires on the back. I'm somewhat of a rookie to all this, so I ask you all this.
What would be the first thing I could do to this car that will improve performance? I am more interested in handling improvements rather than speed. I run entirely on outdoor clay tracks which vary from somewhat hard with no dust to fairly dusty once everyone has run on it awhile.
Thanks, Rick

i was in he same position as you 7 months back, you want to run the tires everybody is running there, get the toe in block kit that comes with all the toe in selections, run the 3.5 degree block to start and get the anti squat kit, 2 degrees or the thicker shim goes under the block. #2 pistions with 3 limiters in front and 2 in rear green in rear and add weight, one square in each rear triangle and 2 in back of the toe in blocks....good luck

The guy is obviously new to the forum. How about explaining that there is another section for selling stuff rather than blasting him.

JOB4

8m is just as fast as standard chassis , but 8m is more consistent & easier to drive , better landings...

Just now seen that he had only a few posts. Maybe should have worded it a bit differently. Just gets old when people can't follow simple forum guidelines and clutter up a thread that is here to discuss a certain rc car.

On another note, got a chance to run both the rcrd aluminum chassis on the b4 and t4. Was really pleased with the chassis and the way they handled on the track. Was running a cut +8 chassis and tried the +12 rcrd chassis since the track I race on is pretty blown out and pretty wide open and flowing. B4 was more predictable all around and could be driven much harder without getting out of shape. If you want another option besides modding a t4 chassis I would definitely give these a try. As for setup, I was running a very similar setup wild cherry posted besides the springs. Ended up with orange front k springs and dark yellow rear springs.

What is the anti-squat kit?

Sorry guys for cluttering up the B/T 4.1 thread with a B and T 4.1 for sale. Yes i am new to rc tech, but not the industry. And now the rc tech thing may be old news. It seems to be a bunch of the same people on here, some know what they are talking about, some pretend to, and others have no idea. I participate in the hobby to have fun, and there are a lot of people that are just no fun or take it way to serious. Lighten up..........

Oh, and BrentH, maybe you should take a dose of your own medicine and change your signature line to just that, your signature and not an ad. If people are looking for a long chassis they will look in the for sale section!
