Monty,
I have a +4C. Is the "Evolution Engine Blue Block Rust Inhibitor" ok to use for storage?
Thanks,
E

Monty, I can get a used Toro Nero with a used 9901 pipe for $200, I don't know how well it runs yet, but is it worth it? Also a plus 4 for $300 they say is 100% meaning new, not sure about the bearings on either engine, here is a pic of the Toro Nero, http://www.flickr.com/photos/roland99/8219960907/

Monty, today the buku clutch didn't do so well, it started going good, a bit doggy so I adjusted all three the same amount and it was flawless for about a tank, next thing I knew it seemed very sluggish, wouldn't get enough speed for the jumps, so I brought it straight in and you could smell it was burnt. I haven't taken it apart to look but you could smell it, when I popped the temp gun on the engine it was only 240 but the clutch was like 270. It doesn't even have half a gallon on it yet, I am assuming the shoes are black, can I use some emery cloth to scuff it up or are the shoes wasted? When I get it apart I will snap a pic if you need it

Do not use anything but denatured alcohol and a lint free cotton towel to clean off the face of the shoes

These clutches do not like being over tensioned so you really shouldn't try to create a high stall, it does not work

Was able to TQ pro buggy out of 19 entries at FRC's 3rd annual Toys For Tots race this weekend with my Fusion X3LX. However, in the main I made a bad tire selection and my buggy was a hand full, it made for a long 30 minutes. I ended up 7th.

The engine never missed a beat, so smooth with power to spare. I was also getting great fuel mileage, after a 2 minute warm up and a 5 min qualifier I was just under half a tank.

Oh yea and I am running a Buku clutch and Monty is right, this clutch is the real deal.

Oh the dreaded "poor tire choice" whoas :

Glad your engine ran like a champ though , better luck next time bro

Yes , in buggy the buku is no joke , if there is too much traction it can be hard for the komposite material to stay cool and keep a positive engagement without a bog in the truck.but otherwise it's spot on
