I would HIGHLY recommend either picking up a gallon of race 3000 or adding 2oz of castor oil to the pro driver

I could read pages well into the night before I find this answer, so I'll just ask it. My btts rips, just past the gallon mark and Im leaning it out and finding more power. I also have a P5 just past a gallon on it and Im race tuning it, its the club race engine.
The P5 seems to be way off power wise vs the btts, will a lower end pipe get me closer to the btts feeling? 2013 pipe maybe?

h plugs work just fine , recommend C plugs but it'll be fine , i have ran them and they worked great

the two BEST feeling pipes without having any weird qwerky power delivery or anything of the such are 9901ss/41021 or 9853ss/41021-41005

hope this helps
Thanks a lot..will give it a try..

hey need pipe advise

im running on a med track 5r with +4 if its rough n rugged/muddy blown out
MBX6 with toro nero both atm running dyna 053 i dont feel this could be the best setup was thinking 2096 with 41021 in the 5r and 2096 41029 in the 6 or would the 9901 with 41021 in the 5r and 9853 41029 in the 6 be a better setup im not in the position to spend a few hundred on different pipes setups for trial and error or just stick with the dyna 053's wich seem not to bad

The toro works well with the 9901 Or 9853 or 9886 and running a mugen you will need to use 41029 header the plus4 would work well with the 2096/29 cheers

Default btta 3 gallons in and still pinch when cold!

I have ran 3 gallons of fuel(VP race 30%/9%) thru my BTTA and I ran 1/2 gal. before I raced it. I always preheat to 200f and run all fuel out before I after run oil it with Hobbico oil. Anyway I am starting to worry that rod is going to be stressed to much but I don't run it rich always around 230f and it runs good but seems to have a little transition from lsn to hsn because at wot starts out smooth then really jumps up in rpm after a second or two. To lean on top or to rich on bottom but I am having hard time getting it just right. I use a Losi RE10 pipe right now but I just bought a RE12 which I think is a copy of 9901 and should help with weird powerband right? Should I crank this motor cold a couple times or really run it lean to drop pinch or just keep on keeping on cause I am 2nd in points and running great this season with the super smooth bottom end with the btta. Thanks!

Do OS plugs work in a Nova P5 or do they have different threads?
Have been running Nova plugs at the moment, but a local company has good pricing on OS plugs at the moment.

OS plugs will work but you will never be able to go back to nova plugs. They are not the best choice. I would use Odonnell or Novarossi.

+1
The OS plugs have a different taper. Once you use them they distort the head button and a normal turbo plug will NOT seal correctly. I think the $10 for a Nova plug is a little high, but they work and work well, so they are worth it in my opinion.

the oils have gummed up/shellac'd/varnished the piston/sleeve , i am 100% sure of it , just run it cause if you clean it off the piston/sleeve fit will be very loose
