Yep. I was using one but I figured out the problem. I was thinking that I had put 2.4mm worth of washers on the extension. Everything is good now.

Initially they said .94, but corrected it in a subsequent post... I don’t study the metric system, so I use those stupid and rarely accurate internet converters. Oddly enough, I suspected another conversion I did didn’t make much sense... So only after using a different formula did I find the mistake and the correct conversion result. I’ll edit my post to read correctly.

anyone ever measure up the bore and stroke on the mantra? not just what nova states but the actual numbers. Unless he was getting some weird numbers its not a square stroke motor or a .21, its 16.46 bore with a 16.8 stroke closer to a .23 than a .21.

[/ QUOTE]

Its 16.42mm not 16.46mm

My brother,
I have two Novarossi Mantra’s. Ones a factory Nova engine and ones a Hobby shop “deal” I got before I picked up a novarossi power supply.

The Factory mantra measures a tad different to what your stating above but is still close enough to a .23.
However the one from the hobby shop which is a “buy off the shelf version” measures exactly what your stating.

A 16.46mm bore and 16.8mm stroke gives a swept displacement of .218 cubic inches.

A Roma .25 is what I have seen many people run here.

I have also see some run regular .21, Elite 5 and Rolling.
