Monty,

I know the specialness that I got. I'll do my best to keep that thing going for as long as I can man. Good thing Ray A can help in that dept. LOL.

The biggest thing I was happy about was the spring change. I thought the Werks clutch was ok before, but now I love it. If that BuKu is even better then, that's saying something.

Anyway, still waiting to get some more cash flow to get some stuff from ya. I'll be in touch. I still have to get that old 5K broke in again. Now that the weather here is finally getting a little warmer, I think I'll be getting on that.

Ok.... Here is what I did.... put the BuKu on, tested it... and yep.. it works. left the settings where you set them.. seems ok.. Track was a little slick and I didnt want to get too aggressive with the spring tension... I also tried a team assoc. 2035. pipe... yep.. it works too.. ..
Car seemed to idle fine, seemed a little poky in the mid range..
.. Too long of pressure tube?.. should I take the boost bottle off of it...?
Next I need to look real close at run times..the 086 ran 5min and no more!
I was hoping to get a little more from the 2035.. or do I have it backwards.

Monty, I have an Old (like me) Nova Rossi Top P5, I won a few years back, its a CEO modded engine, ran like a bat out of hell, and sucked fuel just as quick also, with an 9886 pipe at that time, I was going to try it out in truggy, it has crazy bottom, I changed the head button from std, to turbo, I ran the 9901/021, pipe, would the 2096/ 021 combo be better for fuel mileage, I also am using a 6.5 restrictor.

They are actually pretty close on mileage , i have gotten more out of 2096 on occasion Veno

2096 & 2045 are similar but idk if they are identical bro

If you are able to source a +4 carb, you will gain runtime for shure ;-)

Tony, My Losi's have done the exact same thing in the past. Check the Tank exhaust pressure line. As well check the seal on the tank lid. Both of these have caused idle jumps in my rigs.My losi's running the stock losi line it seems to cause the idle to bobble before returning to normal. I swapped mine out to a 3/32 line and it cleaned the idle up. Monty will have some more suggestions but thought you might try that and see if it helps.

i didnt really think of it before but i kept takin Ians truck to the nicely trimmed field for a lil tune session and it would not stay consistent , i knew it was a fuel pressure issue so i did some investigating , noticed the pressure line tube on the lid was looooooose even with the clamp that Ian (rookie042) had on it , i changed it out for dubro clear blue which is my fav line and low and behold , the needles were pretty rich after doing so , tells me there was a pretty bad pressure line leak

all fixed , good to go , stayed consistent the rest of the weekend
