Just tried the "bad" ones in my TC that has the 1 good receiver in it and they do the exact same thing... The micro flashes twice and goes out and wont bind. The Pro receiver binds but as soon as you get your finger near it the green light cutts out and you lose control.

EA It's probably that uber HIGH voltage IB4200's you run. :sneaky: Try dropping a "normal" pack in it and see how it does.... :p :p :p But seriously, sorry you are having trouble. I have a PRO system and have had no problems, but I haven't taken the plunge on the mini receivers yet. I was going to pick one up this weekend for the BRP 1/18th cars we plan to run at the DC Speedway this winter. Any lot codes or build dates I should watch out for on these 3500 RX's? |
I bought a Pro system about 2 months ago and the Mod would not bind, I could get the Pro receiver to bind with the old spektrum module. I thought it was just me...Man when Eric has problems...It's serious...jk

anyone here ever had a problem with their spektrum rx glitching with a KD-19T motor with XXX brushes???
|
Well Heck I am going to count my blessings..
Four Pro Micros and very first batch...... All bound first shot, never had a problem since. One is 8th scale Truggy, One in 10th scale touring, One in 12th scale Pan, One in 18th scale off road. Only problem I found is if I run a digital servo with a BEC problem child ESC, it would have issues.. -Shookie <>< |
Both of my 3500's have been great and they were from the first batch. Sedan and micro racing. So I guess I will count myself lucky as well.

SM1000 SR3000
Bought a used M11 radio with a spectrum SM1000 and SR3000.
I'm new to the Spectrum crowd. Will be running it in 1/12 scale. What should I beware of with the older Tx and Rx? Can I use a new Micro Receiver with the SM1000? |
Nothing to beware of. And yes, the SM1000 will work with the Pro Series receiver, the original receiver, and the SM3500 micro.

Hi all... Sorry if this has been covered...
I recently purchased the Spektrum system for my KO Helio. It is the PRO Version. However I am still facing problems. The car would glitch and sometimes loose control completely. It only happens to certain parts of the track and sometimes it is completely fine, and next lap it is completely disasterous. I am using KO VFS-1 ESC, with KO Servo. Do I need to adjust the ESC as my friend pointed out to me that I need to increase the Voltage in the ESC to 4.0V and it may solve the problem. I am even running the Spektrum Capacitor but still no luck. Please advice. Thank you. |

I would like to move to Spektrum.
Here is the electronic setup KO VS1 Pro KO Mars R (will switch to Helios shortly, but will use the Mars in the meantime) KO 2413 servo Stock/19t carpet Do you see anything in the system that I need to change or add to be Spektrum compatible? I would like to end up with the micro reciever. Is that receiver bundled with the KO module? Seems like I need to buy the Pro Kit and then the micro receiver? |
