Thanks for the quick response.

So if l have the SR3000 receiver do l send that back and where to ??

thanks Ross

If your equipment needs to be repaired, ship it to:

Horizon Service Center
ATTN: Spektrum Service
4105 Fieldstone Road
Champaign, IL 61822

Include your complete name and address information inside the carton and clearly write it on the outer label/return address area. Include a brief summary of the problem. Date your correspondence and be sure that your name and address appear on this enclosure.

Is the antenna on the DX2/DX3 replacable in the event of breakage? Can't find a part so I assume it requires it to be sent in if it is.

hi everyone. wanted to know any of you have any problems with using ko digital servos with spektrum. i run the pro series on carpet in my ko radio without any problems. i want to get the new ko digital servo and was told i might have problems. just want to know before i buy one. thanx.

Yes the KO servos are known to cause a few problems with spektrum, but in most cases the capacitor will fix it. What ESC do you run? What servo model is it?

xtrememadness 10-11-2006 03:46 AM

i run an lrp quantum 2 and an airtronics 94357 analog. i dont have the digital yet. dont want the ko if its gonna cause problems. maybe a jr 8800 or the new 9000 servo might be better.

xtrememadness 10-11-2006 03:47 AM

also the ko servo i was looking at is the new 2367 ics.

I have not had any issues with my KO digital servo with spektrum. I have run it on carpet as well, but to be fair it was rubber on carpet, not foam. I don't know if this makes a difference or not. I also use a GTX esc for I am not an LRP fan and have read where most issues was with the Q2 and spektrum. That may all be resolved now, not sure.

That is correct. The antennas are not user serviceable on the DX radios or the modules.

If you are going to run a QC2, make sure you run the large capacitor on the ESC itself. You may need to run the SPM1600 Voltage Protector, but you don't know until you try it. I ran a QC2 in my MF2 with an SR3500 Micro Receiver and a JR 9000S digital servo a few weeks ago. Once I installed the capacitor on the ESC, the ESC ran perfectly.

I was just wondering where a I could find an antenna for a spektrm tx for a hitec. The hobby shop told me to send it in, but I took mine a part. I looked but have not been able to find a place that sells them.

RCGaryK 10-11-2006 11:05 AM

The module antenna's are not sold seperately. The only way to get an antenna replaced is to send it in for service.

xtrememadness 10-11-2006 01:55 PM

thanx rcgaryk. so its an lrp issue and not spectrum? i will get the capacitors just in case. but do you think i can still get the ko servo or stick with the jr servo?

al jones 10-11-2006 04:31 PM

Maybe I can get a answer to my question's here ok if I have the spektrum for the 3pk hrs can I use the micro racing receiver and still have hrs.
