Check to make sure your power wires are tight in the battery, make sure your reciever is not loosing signal and set the LVC to 3.0 and tell us if that helped.

I have the UBEC 10A now. Should I connect both outputs to the receiver? Also, there was no mention of the green ferrite rings on the manual. Are they necessary?

On hobbywing's website they show XR10 Justock weighs 59.8g and the XR10 stockspec 2S weighs 28g, is this correct???

Gotta be careful though: often, for the really light weights-ESCs, these are measured without fan, wires and caps... while the heavier ones sometimes include all or at least parts of that stuff. That's why I stopped putting too much faith into such published manufacturers' numbers, when often as not, they do not compare apples to apples but just present some marketing BS. However, this is a general observation, not specifically related to these two specific models.

I have a switch in rpm that I cant seem to tune out. About 3/4" the rpm jumps up , like a switch into second gear. I am running the Hobbywing v3.1 120amp sensored esc , 7.5t, 2s 5000mah 50c batt.
I have turned the timing and boost off and no change. Lowered the throttle curve and ran it with he default curve and no change. Also with punch on and off it makes no difference. I run on a loose track so all my initial sittings are as low as possible to aid with traction.

Re-Calibrate Esc to radio and it will go back to normal.

Ok, I think I might of found the issue. I set my radio to 150 end point , max end point for throttle. Then I calibrated like normal with no turbo or punch and i still get the same big jump in rpm a little past 3/4 throttle.
I then set my end point to 145 and got the same jump. I set it to 140 EPA and the jump in rpms has disappeared. Problem now is I dont think my turbo is activating at full throttle now. Should it still activate if I turned the epa down? I like the turbo for the long straight at the track.
If I set the throttle epa to 140 and calibrate I get the jump in rpm back again.
Using a mxV sanwa radio.

I had a KO radio do something like that once because I would set the high points to 150. I wouldn't get turbo even after a recal and it would have a strange throttle feel. Once I went back to leaving the highpoint for TH and BR at 100 when I calibrated it went back to normal. Worth a try...

Check your punch values...
Did you calibrate the radio to 100% throttle or as much as the radio has? Only doing it at 100 limits some smoothness in throttle in my opinion.

Turbo wont kick in unless you are at full throttle.

new to hobbbywing speedos and recently purchased the Xerun XR8 sct for my scte truck and also ordered the trinity 4 pole motor. I am having problems with the sensored feature where when the sensor wire is hooked up the speedo will just flash red, but when disconnected in runs fine but not in sensored mode. Is this normal for this combo or am i missing something.
