Ok I may have a small complaint. I could be in a position to get the Silver Arrow and 2200kv motor combo but spending close to $160 on shipping does seem a bit excessive to me. Should I just buy the two separately from the USA warehouse? And if I do that I can't get the 2200kv which is the one I would prefer.

And trying to buy them separately isn't going well either. It will not put both of them in the shopping cart at the same time? I would like to know what I am looking at as far as shipping costs.

the overseas shipping costs have always been super high.. best bet will be to wait till speedpassion usa gets them back in stock.

I was just bringing up that I would really like the combo. Will shipping costs ordering the Silver Arrow and 2500kv separately be close to the same as being able to order them together? They are coming to Ohio, 43333. And the "problem" with waiting for them to get back in stock together is people are snatching up everything Speed Passion that I may miss when they do become available.

i know when i ordered my stuff the only difference in shipping costs was like 10-15 cents. but i also live in illinois 2 hours from speed passion usa. they do have both the esc and the citrix slotless 2500 kv in stock at the usa site for a subtotal of 160.92 plus shipping to which at most is 12-15 dollars depending on the method of choice.

Anyone got a suggestion on starting values to use for a 10.5 motor in a 2wd SCT and Stadium truck?

Also, starting value and software for a 5.5 in a 4x4 SCT?

I have a few "noob" questions...

1) I just got my hands on a 2.1 GT EX... I plan on running it in 1/10 TC carpet with the 1 cell 7.5R v3 motor. (I will be running 2 cell though) this would do fine right? I mean I have never owned an ESC that doesnt have a fan... I am a very aggressive driver and how does the esc handle the heat?

2) will the bluetooth/wifi tools for the Reventon work with the GT 2.1 EX?

3) is there a mounting reccomendation? (Heat sink direction)

For the 10.5 I'd go with the regular 205 firmware. Crank the ESC timing up and adjust punch (ATMS?) as desired. Watch temps of course. Generally don't want boost and all that in mod as it makes it less predictable and the extra speed isn't normally needed with more motor. Others may disagree, that's fine.

Don't have any experience with the 4x4 SCT motors (550 can?).

1) Not sure if the EX model is going to work for you, it's intended for 1 cell, not recommended for 2 cell touring car. Looking at the ratings, maybe with the 508zero no timing firmware???

2) Don't believe so, as I understand it the Revention is all new.

3) Not sure, perhaps ask in the on road forum SP thread. Or others may come along here with more and perhaps better info.

Ok, something new happened at the track. I have a GT 2.0 LPF which has worked flawless until today. The last couple of race days it at times will not go to neutral but it wasn't enough to even move the car and I gave it very little thought. I have moved the EPA around on brake and throttle but nothing major. Today it was moving the car pretty good and would take a couple stabs of the throttle to get it to go to neutral. Also at times it would go "dead" for the first hit of throttle after it finally went to neutral. I re-did the radio/esc and while it got better it still will not go to neutral. Any ideas?
It is not going into thermal protection as it does this at all times. When I plug it in and turn it on and after it has been run.
