The screws coming loose are a common problem. Your motor is gonna run hot mostly due to it being a smaller than normal 1/8 size motor. They were made back when 1/8 buggy/truggy was in it's infancy. Now the motors are way bigger and make more power and have a greater efficiency. 230 is way too hot. A common 1/8 buggy/truggy motor should be at 180 or less.

And yes they are fixing to release a new 1/8 motor. I believe Solara mentioned it a few pages back.

Default Citrix club stock ESC and 17.5

I'm looking for help.... I bought a citrix club stock esc and 17.5 about a month ago for my t4.1 truck. I have raced it 3 times (no other practice time b/c of bad weather). This past Tuesday, I showed up to race and the brakes either don't work at all or have about a 2-3 sec delay before working. I recalibrated a few times and replaced the sensor wire. Sometimes the brakes work immediately but usually with the delay. No changes were made to the electronics and all was fine when I drove it at the previous race.

I just talked to Albert at the support phone # and he suggested that I change the capacitor and see if anything changes.

Any other ideas? I do not have the programming card so my options might be limited.

Thanks

Really no secret cure. Add vents to the body, gear down a tooth on Pinion, or just pick up a better newer style motor.

Cool I have the 323 software. Sucks with such a sweet esc to have to run blinky. But ill try the motor.. how would you compare it to the ballistic?

Default Running Weird

Hello everyone. I am having an issue and I think it might be ESC related.

Ok what I have is a Hyper 10TT with the SP GT PRO 2.0 a Tekin 4.5 SC4X and a savox 1258 servo. Batteries are 40c 5.4mAh

Now I have tired a new sensor wire and it still does the same thing. I have linked a video so you can see what it is doing. The turbo/boost does not always kick in like it supposed too. As you can see in the video it is almost as if I let off the throttle for a second then reapply and the boost kicks in. Rest assured I am still holding it at full throttle when this happens.

Setup Sheet I am using http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...20Walt%20G.jpg

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

When you stab the trigger to full multiple times, check the green light on the speedo, see if it flashes. If its flashing, yoy have either a bad sensor wire, sensor on the motor, or the circuit on the speedo is damaged. I would try another known good sensor lead first.
