I was tearing down one of my trucks tonight and noticed that the bottom of my Reventon Pro was packed full of rocks and dirt. I was able to remove the plastic cap and clean it out using compressed air, but I'm gonna have to think twice about running this ESC outdoors next year.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Kremzeek, I don't think that's to much of an issue really as dirt does not conduct electricity. It happens to all ESC's but people hardly ever look inside of them. Not a biggie to open it up and clean it out and if it bugs you enough, you can place a small amount of black or clear silicone caulk in the rear to keep dirt out but it can increase temperatures a touch.
I think I'm going to give SP another go and save BIGTIME with a 13.5 V4 Reventon Pro BLACK Combo for my Wheeler since that class has become huge here in South Florida. Much more fun to run in a group of guys on my level as opposed to top level/pros who I struggle to keep up with consistently.

Watching the Worlds in Japan...
Its interesting to see Orlowski was running SP motors in 2wd. He dropped the SP ESCs a while back, most of the EOS Series he had been using LRP ESC and the SP motors.
Now I see for the 4wd round at Worlds, he is using ALL LRP. Wonder what he knows that we don't?
Anyone know any other big names using SP stuff in Offroad?

I noticed the pros weren't running SP ESC's too. I can't say I'm too surprised though. If they're shorting their customer service and marketing departements, I can't imagine they're putting a lot of effort into pro drivers.. at least the off road ones.

That motor issue should only affect Hong Kong customers. It might not have been clear in the translation, but that's also why the original post was written in characters.
I still and always recommend buying from a local dealer or a store based in the US if you are in the US.
