Um no!! He has a ton of sponsors...I like the esc's period...been asking for a new or the old esc to come back..maybe this would influence sp to bring it back..just showing its potential!!! Don't need their sponsorship bud..I know how to send a resume.. Nothing wrong with promoting a good product for free

It's been awhile, but I remember your son from years ago (S. Harris?). He was doing real well with the Silver Arrow 2 out West. At one point, I think we did sponsor or offer a deal....can't remember. I don't follow every race result, but I know he's usually contending for the podium at JBRL races in 1/8...nice work!
In any case, there was and is something in the works. Many people heard rumors of a new Silver Arrow 3 this past spring. The only thing I can say is that 1/8 ESC was scrapped and a better solution is being tested. No ETA or specs that I can share.

Cogging problem with Reventon Pro while running Stock0.
1. Can the sensor functions on an ESC go bad (Reventon Pro in this case)?
2. What are all the ways to narrow down a cogging problem?
I had a motor start cogging at lowest RPMs after a few runs. I have done the following:
- switched out sensor wires (from a working setup)
- went through motor
- switched sensor board
- switched rotors
- updated and re-flashed firmware (trying various modes)
- tried completely different motors
- tried motors that cog on the Reventon on other ESCs and there is no cogging
I can only conclude something happened with the sensor function within the ESC. Or could it be a voltage issue?
Thanks for any tips!

My daughter's RB5 started doing this with a Reventon R but I have not had the time to try a new sensor wore.
What's odd is that if the car is stopped it usually doesn't do anything but if you push it just a little, it cogs and jitters at low speeds. If you keep it moving though you can apply throttle just fine. Come to a stop and it's usually dead in the water. If it's not the wire I will be swapping motors to see if it isn't the issue.

Must be something in the air..
Had my DEX210v2 out for the first time last night and was running into cogging problems too. I have a PRO 1.1 and a v4 7.5T motor in it. If I reinsert the sensor cable, it will sometimes work, but usually it cogs and the orange light flashes. I've tried different sensor cables. I'm about to order a new sensor board and see if that does it.

For anyone with the cog...
1. Check to make sure you have calibrated your radio to the ESC.
2. Check your sensor wire and or sensor board. If possible replace the sensor board in the motor or use a different motor just to test.
3. What firmware are you using? Stock0, Mod0, etc? Make sure you have the newest version available from Speed Passion's website. You'll need to download the free software to your computer then hook everything up.

It would have to have been something that happened while running, so i doubt pins got bent but i'll look. I had run it fine Stock0 for a few outings with same motor, same everything. (updated to latest using Android app and bluetooth module, also reclibrated and tried multiple rx's).
Oops edit. This is my newer RevPro bought in May and had at the track maybe 5 times. I initially thought it was an older one.
If there are no other ways to narrow it down and the ESC is simply the culprit (perhaps something on the board) anything I can do?
Thanks

Whatever you do don't send it in for repair. Buy a different brand. As long as SP work, they are great. But I paid for service in early march, spoke to SP in September and still HAVE NOT received what I paid for. Not to mention the ESC I sent in for cogging issues which o was supposed to get a code to purchase a replacement.
In short, I'm moving on to another brand because SP has my money and I don't have what I paid for.
If you're cool with that, and even when they say on the phone that they'll do something, but won't, then by all means, buy SP.
I'm done. When they go, Tekin is getting my money.
Sorry, this isn't customer service. This is ridiculous.
