No timing, Mod2 software. I think the 15T pinion might be a little much. The motor does offer timing adjustment, so I wonder if I can get the amp draw down that way as well. Motor is getting 150s and the ESC cutoff is set to 95C.

I tested the Blaze 4600 and it was too slow for my local track, even with a big pinion. Temps were awesome though. Was thinking of trying the 5700 back to back with the Fantom 4 pole.
Try running SWR141 setup. Go down one or two teeth on your pinion.

I run Reventon Pro 1.1 in my TLR 22 2.0 buggy's. (MM and RM) I had no problems with Reventons in them.

Motor was 150 and I didn't check speedo. It didn't feel hot and it had a fan on it.

The Reventon's are not made for 4pole motors. Run the 5700kv or 4600 kV motors from Speed Passion. They are made to run with the Retention speed controls for 4w short course truck.

I love it!!! been using it for the past 3 years...Had this esc in since last year..Keep in mind that we only race with the ebuggy, not much practice bashing,I think it helps with reliability.. Took 1st place this weekend in the pro class

the tekin has the 1/8 ebuggy class sold up,not sure why? the silver arrow is half the prce of the tekin plus the ease of setup and most of all,reliability.. I fried a silver arrow 2 years ago because I ran a 2600kv motor way over geared,at 3mins the motor was at 230*!!!

I fried a silver arrow last year. Because it got wet. Since I switched to TLR the body fits tighter.

I'm running them in everything 1/8... E801B, E801GT, Serpent 811 2.0 Be.

So is there a huge upgrade or difference from 1.0 pro vs the 1.0?

Default Revention S esc problem

Hi guys - Bought a new $50 SP Revention combo from RCTech in China. Just hooked up to my T4.2 and the esc has some issues:

1) Delayed throttle response- nothing and then a burst that will wheelie the truck. Occasional throttle continuance (un-nerving) - it keeps on throttling for about a second or two after you let go of trigger.

2) Fan running normal for about 3 seconds and then going hyper at about 88,000 rpms.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Try connecting it to a Mac or PC and reset or update the firmware to see if that cures your issue.

Can the speed passion GT2.0 low profile esc run a 6.5t motor on a 2s lipo? On there website it says 5.5t on a 6cell 7.2v so I'm guessing that's nimh. All responses are greatly appreciated.

Did you walk through the calibration for your TX to the ESC?

Should be fine. What class are you racing it?
