Hi all.
I just installed the Reventon R and 3.0 MMM 17.5 combo I bought in my 2wd buggy. I downloaded the latest firmware, charged up the battery, made sure the RX was working correctly, and installed it in my buggy. I went to calibrate the throttle, which seemed to work, and then when I powered the it back on, nothing. I pull the throttle, I get nothing. Trying forward and backward is the same result. I can steer, as the steering servo is fine, and I know it is not the radio or receiver. I charged up the battery and even tried a different one. Nothing. I have re-calibrated several times, as per the instructions and the YouTube video. The lights go on and off as they should, and the ESC beeps, etc. All the connections are correct. Am I missing something, or is my setup (I am thinking motor, most likely) DOA? Any suggestions?

I went to update my Reventon S firmware and first I noticed that "Mod 2" was an option, I never noticed that in the past. I also noticed that Modfied 2 now has Forward/ Reverse with Brake as an option. Is this a new update or something?

Yea just a new update, I've been running my Reventon S 17.5r combo for about a month now on Fridays and Saturdays and i love it! System doesnt get hot, motor geared at 76/32 on a medium to small indoor track barely gets up to 130deg with 10deg of timing. I'm keeping up with the majority of the people at my track! When i add 18deg of timing for Super stock class man does this thing wake up! I've been really happy with it. I think i am going to get the Reventon R with 8.5 combo to try to mod class.

I believe the Reventon S can handle 9.5t max, but be cautious adding too much timing running that combo. I run my Reventon S with the Speed Passion MMM 10.5 T with the standard 15 degree timing on the endbell of the motor, and sometimes go up an extra 11 degrees timing on the ESC programming. This is on a Associated T4.2 and im slightly undergeared at 17 / 84.
My manual says 9.5t max, its the V2.1 Created Nov 5th 2013. I do see where the V2.2 Manual created Nov 28th 2013 says you can go to 7.5t but that has to be a misprint. The Reventon Stock Club Race is a 40amp non-timing advance ESC and it can handle 8.5t, so the Reventon S also being a 40amp ESC but with Timing Advancing should not be able to handle anything less than 8.5t as more timing creates more heat. I recommend going with a 10.5T and if you need more power just advance the timing, you have 11 - 20 degrees of adjustability on the MMM motor and up to 26.5 degrees extra on the ESC, that should be more than enough. Remember to get your gearing right before you start messing with timing though. Hope this helps.

Ok, i thought i found the right cable to use with my tablet and the digi program box.
I'm told that you can use the app (i dont want the Bluetooth adapter) and connect to the box for programming.
what is the proper size usb end for the program box? I know that my tablet is the micro usb.
The 2.0 usb is too big.

Where is the Reventon app in the iTunes store? It isn't in the US app store, nor the Hong Kong app store as listed in the instruction manual.
I just purchased the WiFi module, but it's useless without the app, right?

I bought a top dollar orion esc thinking there the best and before i even got it on the track it was faulty, then purchased a gforce which decided to catch fire for no apparent reason and ended up with a speed passion reventon, and let me tell you at half the price off the top dollar esc it has been twice as good as any esc I've owned, i will now only ever run reventor there unbelievable.
