Default Silver Arrow V 2.0

I am having an issue with my Silver Arrow V 2.0. How do i get more braking out of it ? i have re-calibrated my radio to the ESC and verified all my setting are at 100% on the radio and the ESC.
I am aware that the Silver arrow uses a proportional braking system but i was wondering if there is way to by-pass or strengthen the brakes.
BTW i have 2 of theses ESC's and they both do the same thing one in am 8th scale buggy and the other in a 4wd SC truck.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

what do you have the reverse setting at? I have heard that they are kind of tied together. try setting that high as well and see how it goes.

Cain i have tried it in all 3 modes ( fwd/brk, fwd/rev, fwd/rev/brk) with reverse set at 100% and brake set 100%. when i press brake on the radio it slows the car down but it doesn't lock the wheels. I'm aware this is designed so that the vehicle doesn't break gears under hard stopping, but i like to dial out the brake in my radio.

Thanks for the help, if you can think of something that i may have over looked LMK

I have my silver arrow brakes backed off. They will stop on a dime.

very strange about the 1/8 buggy. I could flip mine with how hard the brakes acted.

As for the one of 2S, it is not recommended for that.

can you post your full setup of electronics?

Cain the the 4wd SC truck has Novak 550 6.5t motor, a Savox SC-0252 digital servo, Futaba R603FS receiver and a Novak glitch buster cap on the receiver.
as far as ESC settings

running mode = for/rev
drag brake force = 5%
voltage protection = 3.2v
DRRS punch = level 9
Brake Force = 100%
Reverse Force = 100%
Initial Brake = 40%
Neutral range = 6%
AMTS Timing = 8
Motor Rotation = CCW
Lipo Cells = 2 Cell

I also noticed that when i press full brake on the radio the LED on the ESC goes to red then changes to red/green once the tires stop turning .
if i go full throttle the red/green led's both turn on

i hope this helps

try your initial brake up to 100% . I don't recall using that setting to be honest.
