Mike, i have been discussing this with solaris. he told me that the drrs only controls the throttle control profile, and has nothing to do with the
voltage. he was wondering about the 30 C batteries you were using. You did not have problems when you were using your 50C batteries, correct?

You need to adjust the DRRS to 3 or 4...that is exactly how I start playing with off road...the DRRS took care of my ON ROAD finger.

Yes...RICH told me your case, and I find it very interesting...low C rating lipo will cause this problem.

However, another thing is...does TEKIN Gen 2 motor has temp sensor inside..? If it does....you have to do the same thing like LRP and Viper motor does...disable the 2nd wire from the left on the sensor cable and that should take care the shut down issue.

Give that a try.....

Just got a Rev R and want to ask what motors have people used with no issues? I am in the market for a new motor and want to get what works the best with the esc. Read through the thread and want to avoid any issues.

Thanks and excited about running some SP ESC!

,
I have the drrs on 2. I probably just need to control myself. The biggest problem is i baby ut out and forget to really get on it when i can. So im like half throttle 99% of the time

Lol i have that same issue. I started racing on round down near st louis with drew ellis and that crew years ago. Now live in Louisiana and not much around for on road

I had a number of PMs asking how this body holds up racing and if is a "good race body...".

This past weekend I ran it at our IL State Race and it held up very well. The track is pretty large for an indoor clay track (Leisure Hours Raceway). I ended up BQ in 17.5 SC running it. Can you "race" it...sure. In qualifier 3 I was on pace to seed 4th or 5th overall before my battery fell out

On the straight, small, and big jumps it felt like any other body I've run.

If anything I like the fact my truck didn't look like every other one out there Plus two cans of paint and it looks awesome!

Just got confirmation that the gen2 does have a temp sensor in the motor. So is this something that will be fixed in future software upgrades or is removing the temp wire the only way to fix this issue?

At this moment...yes, please disable that wire and see the shut down occur again. But yes, we are going to work on the software and see that is something we can fix by the software.

Howard thanks for all your help.I will go ahead and pull that wire and will probably go to the track with Rich and do some testing to see if we can get it to shutdown or see if that fixes it.

Hello all. 2 months ago I picked up a Rev Pro along with a Revtech 8.5T for my 2wd buggy. I noticed at full throttle no lights illuminate on the esc. I calibrated twice to make sure. Normal right? 2 weeks ago I started using Mod2 and last night I threw on a slightly used Thunder P Z3R 9.5t. Guess what... At full throttle I get the solid red light. I did recalibrate when I uploaded Mod2. I did not notice the solid red when I had the 8.5t with the Mod2.

Are you saying that...when you use a 9.5, you have red light when WOT? then you switch to the 8.5 and when you are WOT there are no red light? I want to understand it correctly and find out the solution.
