New update for REVENTON ESC....there are no new firmware within but all the frimware were added the "upload protection" feature that it will provide a perfect upload without demaging the ESC internal software. That means it should not have anymore 99% upload and crashed....for those ESC that has software problem, this software should take care of it....give it a shot.

http://www.speedpassion.net/files/SP..._v1_1_0_21.zip

(1) Uninstall the REVENTON software via window's uninstall program

(2) Go to 'C:\Program Files\Speed Passion" and make sure to delete the folder SPEED PASSION.....(if the folder still exist there)

(3) Install the new program...

(4) Update the LCD card...without connecting the ESC. I see alot of people having trouble connecting the LCD firmware because they are connecting the ESC with the LCD while doing the card update, that will not work and will screw up the software.

(5) When updating the card (the new V2.6 version) then restart the computer and program and connect your REVENTON PRO with the LCD card (no fan connection and no LIPO please) and you should be able to do the firmware update...

I did recalibrate when I uploaded Mod2. I did not notice the solid red when I had the 8.5t with the Mod2.

Solara---- I stayed up late last night doing some diag cuz I actually had 2 issues. IF the solid red at WOT is normal then that means that up until I updated the firm ware to mod2, it was not calibrate correctly because now I get a solid red on both 8.5 and 9.5.

The other issue is only with the 9.5 and my 25c pack. I get the low voltage blink as soon as I hit the throttle. It drives normal just blinks. This is on both 25c. I tossed my 65c in there and no issues.

Sent you a PM

Thanks and excited about running some SP ESC!
We have been using a LRP X12 7.5T for the last 2 months in a 2WD without any problems. Temps are good on the motor and the Rev R.

Would like better brakes for high grip astro - hoping a version of MOD2 is released for the R

Silver Arrow V2 Question:

I put in a recently serviced motor and was having problems with it. I thought I would recalibrate the radio but I can't seem to get it in the right mode. I hold the set button, turn on the esc and release the set button. The esc flashes red, and the motor kind of twitches, it never gets into the calibration mode.

I ended up putting my good motor back in and the esc works fine and is smooth as ever, so I assume it is still calibrated fine. I can make all adjustments with the card and computer, but it puzzles me that I can't recalibrate it to the radio.

Also, do I need to download the Drivers Software Patch from their website dated 7/21/10?

Thanks!

Do you have the newest mod2? I updated my pro and it definitely has more brakes.

Isn't it supposed to flash? Then you press the button for each setting, total of 3 times?

Are you clicking Solara's link or directly from SP website?

I just tried by going directly to SP's website and it worked fine.
