I keep wondering the same thing and more importantly what is the price going to be. I've bought several Reventon R's and one S and have been very happy with all of them. I also picked up a pair of the 2.1EX for my 12th scale and WGT and like them just as much. I'm still wanting to upgrade my last few cars but if the prices are at $180 like stated above my DEX410 will stay with the Tekin RS and my other 12th scales will get hobbywing 1s escs.

Strange...
In general it could be ESC overheat...you temped fine. Motor overheat...you temped fine.
Only other things to check or sensor board and possibly weak RX signal. If it dropped from sensor to sensorless mode it would be red and green flashing...so yellow/green is strange.
If you can swap the sensor board out and see if that resolves it. Not sure if you have another one, but try running a different motor and see if the flashing still exists after the run.

2. It sometimes doesn't occur at all
3. In other races it is already happening by the end of the warmup lap!?
4. It actually runs fine....including a full 6 min race when it was flashing on the warm up lap.
Any ideas!?

The issue I saw with reventon software version .15 was the fact that if you update the programmer firmware with it, the LED's will no longer work. Other than, talking to the ESC and setting values from the PC was flawless. Updating the programmer to 1.3 in version .12 fixed the LED issue and I can still set the ESC with the .15 release.

It is all depends on what software you are running, how much timing you add on and what motor speed you are running. 140A will always performs better then a 40A....

I am also running high power servos for 1/10 blinky touring and 2wd mod on 8.5 . Since the BEC is weaker in the Revention S and R models in comparison to the GT2.0s apparently, would it be better to just use the GT2.0s than the Reventions? are people getting brown outs like we see with other ESCs like the MMP?
Lastly, any news on why an external booster like from TQ can't be used on the Revention S and R?

I'vet done testing the REVENTON PRO-EX with stock 1 "Hybrid Boost Technology" with 3.5T motor on F1 and 12th scale CRC...actually, I crashed both car on the straight at one time. I will never thought we can squeeze the 1CELL lipo with 3.5T and boost by that much............the F1 rubber tires actually blew up just like what I did on a TC with 2 cells 4.0T motor.

I don't think TQ cell booster works with REVENTON (I've tried)...I have send one back to our HQ and have them to create a new booster that work with the S and R...there is a chance we will sell the add on booster for 1cell use on REVENTON S and R...

okay, maybe will just go with the GT2.0 LPF instead then for now since the booster does work on that and no BEC issues or pro stock.
