It would be against ROAR rules to be in modified profile and have the ESC blink like its in stock mode. So no, Speed Passion's do not blink in any mode other stock.

so not even in the stock non blink firmware. I am looking to run 2 classes stock and mod with the same car. Wanted to run 10.5 boosted and 17.5 blinky. I know vipers to can just change the profile on the program card. Same with orions. was not sure about the sp gt 2.0. So same with the reventons I assume?

Ok I'm a little confused, but I think I see what you need to do.

To run both mod and 17.5 classes with the GT Pro you'll have to use the programming card connected to a PC to switch back and forth in firmware.

The Reventons you could do using the same method or the WIFI/Bluetooth modules.

looks like a 20% sale going on.

Some items have been raised in price however which basically seems to make them what they were before the sale, at least, that is what I am seeing on the website.

But in general, some really good deals there!

Default Reventon Pro Blinking LED question

I have a Reventon Pro using stock 0 software for 17.5 blinky buggy class. When I first turn on the esc, the leds are normal with the red blinking and the amber solid. However, now when I get done with a 6 minute heat or practice, the red and amber are blinking alternately like a train crossing AND/OR both leds are blinking at the same time. LVC is at 6.8, heat protection off. After a 6 minute heat, the batteries voltage is 7.9v-8.0v and the esc temp approximately 115* or lower. If I shut off the esc and turn it back on, the leds are blinking normal again. The esc functions normally with the abnormal led blinking. Brakes, throttle, and steering are all ok. I've had the esc about a year now, and the abnormal blinking just started about a month ago. I just wondered what the abnormal blinking means...

Anyone looking for a couple of GT2.0 Pros let me know. Got some extras that will just sit here since I don't have time to run onroad.

For the Silver Arrow V2 ESC, any issues bypassing its BEC? I am wanting to use it in an Extended Savage pushing a Castle 1520 Motor on 4S. Had no issues with a Mamba Monster Doing this, curious if the SAV2 can?

+1

I have this problem too. Haven't found any mention about this anywhere, and the blinking can start after just 2 mins. Most times there is no problem with power, except for once when it enetred some kind of reduced "safe mode"

Otherwise I'm really happy with it, but it would be good if somebody could shed some light on this issue.

What make of motor are you running? I've only observed this with LRP/Nosram motors. Anybody know if there are any known compatibility issues?

Download the SP Reventon PC Interface and make sure all your settings are correct.
