For those that are using viper, tekin gen2, or LRP motors, how does the motor perform with the 2nd wire from the left cut? I seem to have a lot of cogging, like it's running completely sensor less, especially from a stop. Have I done it wrong? Could there be other issues with my motor? Is this what I should expect with the wire removed?

That will be perfect. I currently have max timing on the can & nothing on the ESC. I was planning on reducing the can timing & adding in ESC boost any way so that should work out perfectly.

Those motors have a temp sensor that doesn't play well with the reventon ESC's. After 15-20 laps the ESC will go thermal & shut down. The ESC registers 55-60*c & the motor 110*f. With the 2nd wire from the left removed I can run to lipo cut off with ESC @ 60-70*c & the motor @ 150*f, but it cogs at low speeds. I will try reducing the timing on the can & adding boost from the ESC, hopefully that will fix everything. If not, I'll be trading my LRP motor for a different brand.

I've got a quick question - I've just set up my Reventon Pro ESC. It's awesome but one thing does seem to be a bit irregular. Is it normal for me not to be able to turn off the ESC unless the TX is on and sync'd with the RX? I noticed it by chance but wanted to know if this was normal. Thanks!!

I've bought over 20 SA V2 escs and not a single issue from the first one. I prefer it over my old Tekin RX8's I used to run.

We have run a LRP X12 7.5 with zero timing on can and 22.5 on ESC for months without any problems. Changed to a X20 7.5 with same settings and ESC was going thermal at around 5 mins. Motor was too hot at between 90 to 100c. Reduced timing on ESC to 11.25 and all was OK except son wanted more power! Now runing a X20 6.5 at 11.25 timing with the LRP cooling fan. Son is happy with power and motor is running around 65c. Hope that helps.
Is this with the 2nd sensor wire disconnected?
