About the motor timing...yes too, you can use the full timing = 10*...it really depends on the gearing and driving habit. But you should still be able to use the middle setting like 5* and still have good power...
Last....have you calibrate your radio with ESC after loading the MOD2 software...? I calibrate between my radio and esc everytime JUST to make sure there are no mistake at all....make sure your EPA on throttle are 100%....don't do that 120% setup and back down to 90% crap like other brand ESC does...not going to work on SP ESC.

Solara: Any news on when the Blaze SCT motor will be available in the USA? I hear of people testing it, but nothing else.
Also, what all happened to the Cirtix R8 1/8 speed control?
Any news on if we will get some 1/8 scale sensored motors in the same Kv ranges as the sensorless stuff?
Lastly, have the Reventon Pro been certified for 540 4 Pole usage, albeit, with limitations on the software you use (like the Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro).

Alright I'm having a couple problems and I'm baffled. I run GT2.0 pro's in my 4 Durango's. in my DESC410, the esc jumps into unsensored mode after 4-5 laps. You can feel it lose the punch and when I pull it off the track the green light is blinking.
Now, I figured okay the esc and motor are a bit tired so I re-did my electronics with some extra parts I have. I installed a Brand new GT2.0 pro, Tekin 4000 Pro4, new sensor wire. Same exact symptom. Tried 2 other sensor cables, same thing.
I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

Is the Tekin motor new too? Have you tried a different motor?

What would blinky be considered as I run no timing now?
Maybe Solara can chime in his thoughts?

I am thinking there may be more to the software in blinky than just timing alone as I also run similar software to you or have and haven't had an issue. I did notice that blinky felt a bit lower in overall grunt compared to stock, but I could be wrong.

If you have been running the same setup no issues before makes me wonder about the motor personally.

Definitely the sensor board on the motor, if you have changed the esc and the sensor cable.
