Hey guys, can anyone tell me what sensor board this is? It's supposed to be a +30' yellow sensor board.

from what I recall the black ones are the boards that come with the regular V3.0 competition, so like 0 timing they add as from what I recall its red for +10, green for +20, and yellow for +30.

Is there anything on the board that says if it added some amount of timing?

that looks like a stock one to me. 0 deg to plus 10 when you slide it over in the endbell. The bottom two connections look pretty parallel to the sensor plug. that's why I think that. the more timing they have in them then the more offset all the solder connections are.

I need some advise, I got a new revention pro and V3 7.5 motor and installed it in my 2wd buggy. I started off with it straight out of the box and it had no power geared at a 20/80 and had no heat in the motor or esc, I went up 2 teeth at a time on the pinion till a 30/80 and it got better but still not near as fast as other drivers on the track and there geared around a 20-22 pinion. I reflashed the esc and changed the software to the mod 2 and it got better again but still temps aren't even 100* F yet. I maxed the motor timing on the can and now starting to feel some real power and temps are about 120 on the motor and speedo (have had the esc timing maxed all along). I'm happy with the power and performance now but feel that something is not right with having to max motor and esc timing out and gear that high? Another driver at the track that is running that esc with an 8.5 and 0 motor timing and 18 in the esc is geared 22/80 has more power and slightly higher motor temps than me with the same software only difference is he is using the multi-cap capasitor, does it make that much difference or should I look at other things?

I am running stock short course with a sc10. Blinky mode timing on motor is ok. Currently using a prostock 2.0 with a 17.5 ultra sportsman. For a locked motor it has been great! It's gotten little hot and is starting to show age at almost 2 years now. With the sale it would be a nice upgrade, I think, but wonder if I should just bite the bullet a d get the MMM. Thanks for the help.

Default Reventon Stock Club Race ESC and V3.0 17.5 motor

Just picked up the Stock Race ESC and 17.5 combo
I really like the terminals on the V3.0 17.5 motor.
I'm guessing since this is a stock spec ESC and motor it won't require module, but not for sure? Has anybody used one of these yet?

After reading thru and hooking everything up, I'm still having some issues.
I'm not real sure if I'm getting into the setup program in order to adjust the lipo cutoff range.
Seems the only thing I can adjust is my radio end points. Then I have a solid orange light and a blinking red light. What is this telling me? Low voltage, or blinky mode? Any help would be great.

Drove this today and Im happy with it. Nice top end, but not sure about the the brakes. Just woundering if their is any adjustments without the card?

That mean it is Blinking mode (zero timing). You can adjust the setting without program card. Refer user manual Page 12 - http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...un01st2012.pdf

I forgot to say that this function is available on Reventon Stock Club Race ESC only.

I opened it up and on the back of it is +40 but I thought they were supposed to be blue? Either way it's not whats on the label or what I ordered.

Was this purchased through Speed Passion USA or a local/online retailer?

Either way you maybe have gotten an early production board before they were color coded. If it is not the correct product you ordered contact the company it was bought from. If that was Speed Passion USA please contact them directly.

Thought I would bump this thread back up and see if anyone was willing to comment on my issue.

May be the radio was not calibrated good the first time you set it up?
Put stock 0 on the ESC set all your EPA and expo/curves to 0/100 on your radio and recalibrate your ESC throttle settings. let me know how it go's.

Hideeho
Verify that, unless you are using a futaba, your throttle is NOT reversed on your transmitter. Verify EPA's are all @ 100% (not 120% or 90%). Recalibrate your radio to the ESC. Verify all motor wires are connected properly (a-a, b-b, c-c, NOT by color). Verify your sensor wire is connected on both ends & all the way in. Verify the sensor is working (dim alternately flashing red leds at very low speed). Drop a size on your spur (take this with a grain of salt as I don't know what buggy you run, the size or grip of your track, or your skill level), I run 24/78 in b4.2xl with rev r & v3 8.5 with about 3* on the can & 14* ESC (the only buggy faster in a straight line than mine locally is running a 6.5 & he's barely faster).

Use it....that is the early version of the +30 board which has a +40 marking inside...it is confusing (and I apologize about that). But that board is indeed equal to the newer version YELLOW BOARD which will add the 31-40* timing, just like the yellow board and exactly like what you want...

I am wondering where you purchase this board from...? I am sure is not from SP USA because I am the one that hold all of these black version and they should not be on the street unless some of the few team drivers...
