Took it off, powered it off, and then checked all wires/plugs and it looked ok. Then I put it back on the track, lined up for racing, and got down the straight away before the same thing happened again.

It appears that after about 1 minute of running with the occasional full throttle, it shuts off.

When I arrived home I did some testing and reset my neutral/throttle/brake and checked settings on the ESC and all appeared acceptable. Then was testing the throttle, giving it some juice, and after about 1 minute it just cuts off.

Any idea? The temps on both ESC and Motor are ambient. I used 3 different lipos (all have less then 4 cycles on them) Any idea? Bad ESC? (brand new reedy sonic 17.5 motor as well.)
When the throttle dies, what do the lights on the unit do?

A few quick question I have a Reventon Pro and a Comp MMM 10.5 in a HPI Blitz 2wd SCT.

I have been playing with the DRRS 3.0 settings to get the best mix of traction and power. Is this setting limiting the maximum current to be pulled from the battery/current sent to the motor at x throttle position? or is it changing the throttle curves to be softer or more aggressive.

Secondly is the overheat protection of 95Deg for the motor or ESC ?

Thirdly I am running the Mod2 firmware as recommended by you.

How much do the power/brake curve/power application vary to the Stock0 Firmware? (I ask this due to our class requiring blinky mode but I prefer Mod2 with no timing)

Is there any tables or data that show how the firmwares vary behind the scenes.

Thanks.
Just bumping this one as I think it got missed would appreciate any input.

Thanks for the info Forester.

I looked at the -R but the Pro combo was less than USD 20,- more so I took the combo. But I'll keep it in mind as the -R and -S share the same BEC, I might get either one for a future project.

Did you forget that you have a login name that can be different from the display name?

Think you need to send it in. Get an RMA number. Same thing that happened to my first one.
