does anyone know when the Competition V3.0 1 Cell Motor - 13.5R will be in stock?

whats the best choice in motors to run in a 12th scale pan car on 1s lipo?
1. Competition V3.0 1 Cell Motor - 13.5R
or
2. Competition V3.0 Brushless Motor - 13.5R

I'm guessing the first option since its designed for 1s lipos correct?

when will be the next shipment of products coming in? seems like almost everything is out of stock!

from what I have been told, the MMM is like a better 1S V3.0 from what I recall.

V3 1 cell motors are being discontinued. In my 12th scale I like the MMM motors. I run them with less timing than the 1cell motors. I like more grunt that the MMM motor gives throughout the run.

As kindly stated by others the MMM is overall a better motor to run. The V3.0 1 cell is still a great motor to race 1/12th pan car if you decide to run it, but if you want the best performance I would recommend the MMM.

Sensor Problem?
 

Hi,

I have this scenario: my motor got too hot the solder on cable A melted and stick on cable B. My car stopped. Smell something burned on esc. Resolder the cable again try to punch the throttle but nothing moved. I turned the motor while punching throttle...it works like normal but dead again when the motor stopped.

I pulled out the sensor cable. It works like nothing happens. Plugged in the sensor cable again...the motor dead again and needs push to work.

Have i shorted the esc sensor board? Any way to recover my esc? Esc is GT2.0Pro.

This happened to me a while ago, thought i killed every thing same symptoms as you have described. Only thing i did was melted the solder out of the can... speedy still going 12 months on....

What is the difference between Stock323 and 328??
 

I'm running my 22sct with a 8.5 and would like to know what the diffence between stock 323 and 328 firmware?? I looked back on this thread (20 pages) and did not see anything.....Any help would be appreciated:)

yeah I just wanted to be sure but it seems like the MMM 13.5 is out of stock:cry: I guess I'll try out the Competition V3.0 Brushless Motor - 13.5R since this one is in stock.

About an order...

Got my Reventon Pro today. Great quality feel and look. Hooked it up and dropped in a Trinity 9.5. Set up was easy. wrks great.

Just installed and ran my reventon pro in my B4.1 with an 8.5 and had some issues. Running the mod software (tried both versions) the car will just shut off randomly. Could be after 5 laps, 20 laps, or 1 lap. Tried reloading it and recalibrating it, but it still had the issue. Once it shuts off, you can turn it back on but the ESC just blinks like it's in protection mode. Shut off the voltage and temp protection, but that didn't help either. Once it sits for around 30 seconds, it will start working again. Tried 2 different motors and sensor cables as well. First time I've ever had an issue with any of my Speedpassion esc's.

I'm guessing it will need to be returned at this point?

I just got a reventon s esc and I can't get the computer to recognize it to update the software. I have followed the directions exactly and I still can't get past the "please connect the esc" phase. Any help would be appreciated.

also any more suggestions on the reason why my gt 2.0pro wont work when trying to set it to my radio? Meaning when trying to program it the red light will blink like it should, but when I click it to set foward or brake neutral there is suppose to be a green light flashing as well but no green light comes on. Been messing with this thing for 2 days now and cant get working.

It sounds like you do not have the driver installed. Is windows opening the window up asking to select a driver for the new device connected?


Is it possible to take a video of you programming it and PM me a link to the video? As soon as you let go of the button after holding it down and turning the ESC switch to ON do you wait a few seconds then press it again to set nuetral? I know that is a simple question, but looking to narrow things down.
