Try the settings, I would try another battery as well, borrow a friends if you can - one newer than yours to see if it makes a difference. It could be 5-6 different things or a combination of them.

I have to commend Viper for their excellent warranty service, They shipped a new esc to my buddy very quickly.
Now, can anybody suggest a good PWM setting for a 6 pole 2150kv in a 1/8 buggy?
I am not sure if I need a higher number there since the switching speed has to be faster.
Feel free to chime in..

The Viper motor is insane. I had a 550 4600kv tenshock motor and I said no way will this Viper 540 4500kv in my caster rapture would have enough power, well I was wrong as it had so much power I had to gear it down... I can't wait to test it more this Saturday

I am looking for some progauge/v-link settings for a Truggy running 1550KV/5s.
I dont really understand what brake setting to use, along with the punch, start power and timing because I am not running a mechanical brake and it will be my heaviest vehicle. With that being said, I know it will be a lot less forgivable on the motor/speed controller. Also, what should I set the LVC at running a 5S?
I am pretty sure there are other settings someone who races would adjust, but I dont understand slew, throttle curve/rpm and all that stuff, so again, I really need a strong baseline to work off of. Any setups or advice is appreciated!

some guy - you will want to be in the upper portion of the range - maybe 16000 to start. More important with 6s, turn the Punch setting way down, like 30-40 to start because of the extra voltage of 6s.
boostem - what esc are us using? Start Power is a feature in our Copperhead sensorless esc, its not rated for a 5s battery. PM me with more info on what esc you are using. Thanks.

European 2wd Championship update.
Lee Martin tied for TQ with Jorn Neumann with their 2 fastest runs. Lee was classified 2nd due to the 3rd run (I believe).
In the first 2 A Mains Lee and Jorn battled back and forth through both events. Lee would finish second to Jorn in both of the first 2 A Mains. In A1 by 1.8 seconds and in A2 by .5 of a second - Lee turned the fastest lap of the event trying to catch Jorn on the last lap.
Great result for Lee and the VTX10R Black Edition!! One more A final to go and then on the 4wd portion of the event.

Thanks for responding, but I was talking about a 6 pole truggy motor.. not 6 cell
And, I have been running my punch at 70% because it still has a delay in throttle, sometimes, up the face of jumps, I'm starting to wonder if I need more capacitors.? or a higher pwm # ?
