chris - sorry I don't know Durango gear ratios. If you have a 4500kv gear same as anyone with a Tekin 4600. If you have the 5150, go down 1 or 2 teeth.
some guy - with a 6 pole motor, might have to drop it a little more, that 6 pole will generate some amp draw, and it pulls the battery down to LVC for split second

So I tried several combinations of the suggestions I received. I change the esc setting to profile #3. Then I reduced the transmitter signal to 16.5 ms.
I ran for two afternoons going over a jump and running in grass in direct sun with a temp sensor and the body on it. Had no problems till the second day...
after jumping ten foot or so with no problems, I slowly ran over a stick laying in the yard. It was about an 1 1/2" in diameter. The esc shut down as described.
I had steering but no throttle. The f and r leds were flashing rapidly. The temps were 122 on the motor and 107 on the speed control. After letting it set for 15 seconds or so, it actually did reset itself. Do I need to exchange this? And are the ones you receive refurbished or new?
Thanks
