I emailed the customer service to find a good starting point for my Losi 4x4 and to find out about price.
This is the quote from their customer service
"As for the price of VX4 Copperhead system, it will be $149.99 for the VX4R combo and $134.99 for the VX4 combo."

I believe Salad was saying the sensored version will not be $150

Start with the 13.5 profile on the esc and tune from there as needed. We used that at a trophy race in NJ and our driver with a 13.5 was pulling cars with a 8.5 down the straights.

I'm having trouble with the push button switch on my 10R speed control. It turns on ok, but after a run, it won't respond at all to pressing the button - it won't go to tune or shut off. I have to disconnect the battery.
When I turn it back on it the button will work again, but not after 5-10 minutes or runtime.
Any ideas? The switch looks like its integral to the design so it doesn't look like I can even replace it. It's less than a month old.

Weird, it doesn't shut off during the run at all, its just the switch function? The switch is its own circuit board. If you go to the website and fill out an warranty form, send it back and they will replace it pretty quickly.
Where do you run in the NYC area, I bet we will cross paths at some tracks this winter.
