I would start with profile 2 and fine tune from there. I ran 85-21 with a VST 7.5 in my 4wd (2.43 transmission ratio). Just check your temps first 2-3 minutes of your first run to gauge were you are to be safe.

Thank you. I was looking at profile2 to start. Thinking about picking the pc hookup to tune this thing further, I have the progauge now but the pc link seems more in deph

The full PC program is still a little bit down the road. The gauge helps tremendously!!!! Let us know if you have any more questions.

Went racing Friday night with my caster 4wd and Kyosho 2wd sc. I Tq'ed sc and Qual'ed 3rd in 4wd. I won both mains. I'm running a VTX10 and 10.5 motor in sc and a VTX10R and 8.5 in 4wd buggy.

looks good how do the unsensored drive compared to the sensored motors on the market?

What we have tested so far has been great, is it as smooth as a sensored system? No but for being sensorless it's very good. We worked our asses off on this firmware and it shows.

I'm expecting a prototype in November of the VTX8 and the VSE's are getting rotor and slot changes. I would expect to see a VSE 4 pole around the same time.

I have a VSE I'm still running. LOL Ya, I can't wait for the new VSE 4 pole motors and e8th esc to come out.

They are shooting for a november release date, there is going to be some thorough testing going on in the next few weeks with the testing group and then based on the feedback, they will be released.
