Might have to buy a 2096 pipe and 41021 header then since people are swearing by it!

I think I'm running a 7mm venturi at the moment, I'll have to check and maybe go to a 6.5mm to see if I get that little extra run time to avoid a second stop in 20 min finals and definitely get a single stop in 15 min finals

So after a good 3 hours trying to tune my 28-7t this week I got it idling and running but I can't full squeeze the throttle ? It drives on quarter throttle ok and wen I start it I can give it 3or 4 good squeezes but then if I keep doing it it's like there's no fuel and it wants to stall so I richen it and then it won't idle or drive at all so then I lean it a bit and straight away you can tell it's too lean it idles very high and all over the place doesn't sound good, all in all I feel as tho I've tuned it to a point where I cannot get it any better and I'm frustrated I felt as tho the engine is a dud can any one shed any light on these problems?thank u in advance

Clean out your hsn and retry

Tiny particles get stuck in hsn and wreak havoc with engine tuning

Another thing to check is fuel flow. Take the tubing off of the pipe and carb then blow through the tubing from the pipe end. You should get a nice stream of fuel out from the carb line. If you don't its time to look at a new clunk filter. Sounds goofy I know but I've seen this many times.

Had a guy in the shop yesterday that had a nicely idling motor but as soon as we went to drive it lean bog like crazy. I went out to help him tune it up and after going rich over 1 turn on both needles I checked the clunk filter the way mentioned above a it barely dripped. Changed the clunk (coper looking filter in the bottom of the tank) and the engine ran perfect after a lot of leaning out.

There is no such thing as a Novarossi dud we will get it figured out.

This is a great combo, get ready for some rpm with a very smooth controllable bootm end. The 9886\41019 will give you the most top but the power is instant. The 2096 also has much better run time from what I've seen. Did you go with the super strong?

Default Nova 367 Plus 2

Does anyone know if I can use other novarossi p/s for the 367 plus 2? Part# I have is 08061 but hard to find. I marred the sleeve and piston trying to tighten the flywheel nut. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Absolutely mate, no point skimping on something that needs to be strong to do it's job efficiently.

Can't wait for it to arrive (as well as the 3.0 that it will be fitted to)

I think most of the Nova manifolds are polished. I run the 41020 with 9901 SS and it's quite nice to drive if you like a bit of bottom end fun lol

Hello! Where can i find information about how to tune with the new carburator on the Novarossi 2014 models. I have ordered Maxys Cinco tuned version with cheramic bearings and it comes with the new carburator.

Go to the Novarossi.it website, select your engine model and you'll see a link to a carb settings PDF that goes over the config of the carb and the base settings.

However it's fair to say that tuning with that carb is no different than tuning with any other carb. Theory is the same!
